WOW Lax! I'm so jealous! That's a beautiful coil! Mine never light up all at once like that. Nice going!

Thanks Lax, I was going to add that there are links to those 2 videos on the Spreadsheet (check near the bottom - "Videos & Links")

Really? Is that what I think it is? (Or do I just have a dirty mind?) Then what's the button for? LOL

I don't understand what this post means? Someone please explain it?

I was referring to faceless' upcoming 510 connection for the ihy tubes,I have seen two post saying that this is the first or let's see somebody copy this.Nothing agains faceless,he makes awesome APV's and his turnaround time is so fast,it makes all other makers really slow-even long established companies. The 510 adapter(or whatever its called)to put on top of the tube instead of the ihy atty is being used on a CoOp for a hybrid with multiple options, and a 510 cap is one of the options.

Edit-I won't be needin one,but it is a nice thing

Good morning, I was out all day yesterday then all night at a Halloween party and had to catch up on 32 pages, WHEW.
Now I have to prepare for this Hurricane sandy which is supposed to make land fall just south of me. They are evacuating the barrier islands all around me but not the mainland yet. I am about 5 miles west of Seaside Heights where they film Jersey SHore. I am supposed to work night shift Monday night and tuesday nights. Hopefully the governor will call a state of emergency and close the highways and I will not have to go in. The news just said the storm surge is going to be atleast 8-10 feet of surge, WOW.
Stores here are sold out of water, milk, bread, duct tape. Now I just gotta charge all of my e-cig batteries so i don`t run out,.

Awesome news, even the weekends you take off from work you come up with something that keeps us all wanting more. LOL. You are are always thinking outside the box and coming up with things that we didn`t know we needed or wanted but there is definately a need for, BRAVO. :headbang: Will this be available as a retro fix for present IHY`s or only on future mods???
Ok, I'm gonna make a part that screws on the top of the tubes to make the tubes a mechanical mode also, so you get an all in one genny device and/or a mechanical tube also :) It will be cheap sold solo and it will be included with all standard and LE kits in the near future, prices will go up to compensate for the new part included but it will be cheap, no more than $255 for the full kit with the attachment for the mechanical mod conversion included. Hope I'm making sense, basically a genesis device and a paps like tube all in one :) so now you can have the hard hitting effect with all your RBA genesis attys and use it for any 510 connection atty you want on top, it will be lined with silver to give it that extra power to make your DIDs and what not even more powerful :) Now thats unique if I say so myself :) expect it within a month for under $40 retail, probably closer to $20-$30 but I need to see the cost of making it. Its a small part so it should be cheap

Ok..........get excited now :)

Here's hoping for a retrofit... Goes more along the lines of the modular idea of the i(interchangeable)Hybrid.

Morning guys, finally got to sit down and play with the Green Envy v2. Rolled a decent size wick (60mm wide) and wrapped a 5/4 coil with 30awg kanthal, and the GE just vapes wonderfully. Setting up the wick and coil was a breeze, and I love the way the posts are setup (No awkward two-sized allen wrench/slippery thumb-tightened nuts to worry about). No complaints about the way it performs at all.

I do have a complaint about the presentation, how the device looks. This is how I received the GEv2 on Friday. *Lots of pictures below*

None of the engravings/design elements line up! When I first saw it, to be honest, I was taken aback. When I see "Limited Edition", I see "Flagship pieces/Showcase pieces", and I believe that expecting the design elements/defining features to line up as the render is not too much to ask for. Especially since I saw a few people posting pictures of their Green Envy, where everything does line up.

This morning, I finally sat down, and finally take it out of its tube again. I thought, I already paid for it, might as well try it out, and like I wrote, I have zero complaints about the way it performs. Now, I don't complain for the sake of complaining, it's a waste of energy for me. I'd sooner put it up on the classy and be done with it, if I didn't care. Seems to me that this could all be fixed by including a couple thick o-rings and a couple thinner o-rings in the tube, to account for the machining variance. If the o-rings were included, I would've felt better and chalk it up to machine limitation, instead of feeling like I got something out of the "Ooops"/second-grade bin.

I don't know, maybe I am being overly critical, and if so, I offer my apology in advance. I did try to keep it constructive. At any rate, I do hope that the future LEs don't have the same problem.

This is just how I have it setup at the moment. After vaping on it more, my gripes with the alignment becomes less and less important. I'm just glad I got that thread ring sleeve. The surprise Trippy tip was a very nice touch. I just don't have it on for fear of breaking it.

Sorry for the long ramble, thanks for reading.

Virginia is for vapers
Aoi~:
The variance will be fixed with the new self adjusting switches Face is making.
It is impossible to make tubes that fit all bats - even bats from the same manufacturer. I have some 18650s that shake in the tube, while others fit tight, for example. Again, the new switch will fix all of this.

OK for the discouraged owner of the green envy this has been discussed before in the thread and I'm sure will be discussed again ...the gap will be taken care of with new switch or a simple clear oring works,,the rattle will also be fixed with the new switch,,,the ingravings lining up can be fixed also with a oring ......I am ocd myself but this are easy adjustments and fixes...I'm promise if you don't like it I will take it off your hands for retail ....the performance is definately on top with the easiest setup for a hybrid...IMHO. sorry you feel this way about the tubes not lining up just thought I would give ya some quick fixes. to see if that helped....u could also sand tops of tubes down to fit your liking also(i think lol)but this would take the anodizing off the end tube so maybe not best idea but to me seems it would also work like yhe modified orion but with tubes instead of tank......hope this helps and changes your mind about the device and if not oh well ...i love it myself but im more interested in the performance than the little things and for he price and everything that came with this device which went from an idea in the thread to a concept drawing in a coulpe days and then to our doorsteps in a few weeks with the v1 i think Faceless proved himself and showed his dedication to his fellow hybreeds.........imho

wow that is amazing news faceless!!! I am so excited to see how this all turns out!!!
man, I have so much stuff to machine lol, my head is spinning in circles
Dont over work yourself man!! Great things take time and good things come to those who wait :)
side advice: Should I anodize the illuminati gold or just make the tubes and sleeve out of brass?

edit: Nevermind, I dont think the engravings would come through as silver
I would go with the anodizing
This One...

I don't mean to come off as being ungrateful. I do love how it performs. I have no doubt on Faceless's dedication to his craft. I'm offering feedback for future improvements. I haven't noticed any battery rattle really with the 2 batteries pictured. The first pictures were taken without batteries in the tube.

I could sand down the tubes, but that would ruin the beautiful anodizing job. Ideally, adjustments would be made in the production stage, before anodizing. I wouldn't have complained if the o-rings were included, not so much if I had to hunt it down myself. Just seems to me like a correctable oversight. I'm not a machinist; I don't claim to know how these are made. For all I know, I'm asking for the impossible.

Back to vaping/slight nic overdose in this fine sunday morning.

Wish WNC was around. He shaved the edges of his tubes to make everything line up.

Personally think it looks good and its not like you see the edge of the tubes.

He does have a slight gap which should be corrected with the new spring.

Face did mention something about a jig and getting future tubes to line but waiting for him to elaborate more later.
