The new delrin will make the throw short :) The new switches will be ready next week, I will do TI tanks :)

Super confused for a sec, thought there was a v1 that was the original 50. Than the short throw that came out with the Spider and than the new new switch for the kick gap or is the last two the same?

Thanks and sorry for all the questions!

Can't wait for a new switch! Half destroyed mine.

Ohh hoping the TI tanks will be available to purchase when ordering the 14500.

why would you get brass screws to try out if it was a perfect vape already?

The aluminum isnt brushed any longer before anodizing, you're living in the past.

I had both of the other devices that were anodized, 1 had spots on it and the other one was very very nice but it didnt fire, I would rather have a device work than look like a beauty.

Where is this crooked tank you speak of? whats the link to the thread? I'd love to see it, and icase you dont know, I buy tanks from the guy who makes the tanks you have on the other device LOL

you had the run of the first 50, I'm sorry, I wish those werent judged but sadly they are. I would have refunded you if you would have PM'd me with no issues at all. My product gets better as well as my customer service, while others get worse :)

Sorry Crypto, but like I said, you're living in the past.

I did say that about your coil, I remember, it did look good, but that doesnt mean it works right, you should know that, my wife can wrap a beautiful coil but it doesnt work lol

That may be true face but I only needed to spend $255.10 once.....I wasn't about to try again. I am sure you have fixed the issues that were present on the iHybrids like I received, but that is only good for those who buy today for a cheaper price, it does nothing for those of us who kick started this thread.

I tried the brass screws for the same reason I try anything....to see if it improves my vape experience. I knew the spring did, so since they were cheap and right there to get at vapercon....then why not. Like I said thought....I can't tell the difference. A multimeter may tell a difference but my mouth, throat, lungs and taste buds aren't multimeter calibrated.

If the guy with the crooked tank chooses to speak up then you will find out, but it's not my place to speak for him.

I have 14 devices and 4 use no insulator just like the iHybrid.....I am sure the easy thing for you is to blame it in user error....just like the way the phone company treats you when you call about your DSL being down and you work in the same industry and have already done all the testing and know the issue is outside the house.....I have plenty experience with wicks and coils and spent several hours working on devices at vapercon to get some users back up and firing evenly with no hot spits....so although its easy for you to blame the user.....ur doing nothing more than shifting the problem off of yourself, especially since you know or should know based on my input and willingness to help here, that I do know my way around a Genny device and a wick and coil.

Like I said before....maybe it was just those first devices that cost more than those today....but that doesn't make me smile....live in the psst.....that's all I have. What's the sayin....ya live and learn.....and if you don't learn ur bound to make the same mistakes again.

I've seen them in the classies, posted by some people in this thread to get rid off them to buy an LE and they list it lower than what they paid because this group doesnt like the price gouging. I've seen a green envy go for high. They also arent hard to get, hard to aquire makes prices go up in the classies, you should know that. You're not here to hang out? I see a lot of gibber jabber from you, and you're looking for the best vape? What are you looking for? Flavor, hard hitting? or just a pretty mod? Gennys? Mechanicals? Maybe someone in here could give some advice :) You tried a bliss? I like that one. I like the paps also for mechanical, kinda tied to a caravela, maybe 1 better than the other but thats all opinions. I think the orion has the best flavor IMO, but I saw you say you dont like that device.

I'm not mad at ya Crypt, not that you care, I value opinions, thats how I improve on the product I make, just your opinion is based on the very first runs :)

Good stuff. Customer Support is huge. Everything I've heard The IHY is one of the easiest to setup. It's my first Genesis. I had it working well the weekend I got it. I've heard the Orion is not beginner friendly.

Face, keep doing what you're going. Talk to your customers/ business/ nonsense/whatever. That's a huge selling point.

Crypto sorry for your experience. Always contact the Vendor/Modder. Most are more than willing to fix any problems. Problems happen... Thats the draw of US vendors. They can hopefully fix it in a hurry or supply parts.

agreed Vapor... I own many of "Z's" too, never had real problems with 'em from day one... I also like Face's too...and yes, I will be using both. to me, variety is the spice of life, and I'll ALWAYS be looking for the perfect vape. for me, both are extremely close IMO...the best of the best ;) I have no bad words about either vendor, nor will I... regardless where, really, there is no place for all the negativity in either of their threads....I salute 'Z' for his jump into the hybrid scene and what he attempts/attempted to do (and it was never intended to go the direction it has), and Faceless for his direction as well and wish them both for the best...

Personally, I think they are both great devices (each edging out the other in certain aspects), and I'm glad both makers are continuing to do to their own innovative things. I've currently owned 2 from each manufacturer, had great luck with all 4 devices, and plan on purchasing more from both.

My only gripe on the "green envy" will be solved by the upgraded switch..

My only gripe on the Zen Cobalt ended up being solved by Noalox (which I had sworn I'd never use).

As I said in the other thread, variety is the spice of life, and I feel fortunate to be able to swim in both pools. :)

And it's even better that the makers have a mutual respect for each other, and for the healthy competition.

No, I have no problem with the Orion but the switch did die after week one due to juice leaking from the atty area to the batt tube....so it was down while a new switch crossed the pond. It is a great vape though and if it wasn't it would be gone....no fan boy here....it's all about MY vape experience.

Hot spots are user error though. Low vapor is caused by an error. Thats a fact, unless there is a short in the device, but you would know if the device had error, the battery would get hot and melt the plastic off the battery if there was a short not in the coil and wick, use a paper clip and touch the top post and unit at the same time and fire it and you will see what I mean.

You sold the unit I sold you, and you know what I did? I had it shipped to me and sent them a new unit, I would have done the same for you. :) Dont ask and you get nowhere. Knowledge is power. I dropped the price because so many people whined about it being too high for SS and aluminum, the same people that spend $250 for a 1 battery full aluminum device, lol.

I had no "problems" setting up the Orion, but can absolutely say there are much easier genesis out there to set-up especially for beginners.
Flavor was incredible, size was great, but I ended up trading mine. Partially because I've come to like bottom buttons more, and I can't really put a finger on exactly why, but it sat on the sidelines much more than my other devices...

Finally getting to the point of parting with the devices I don't use enough. A much as I love the quality, P+ 18350 may be the next to go..

I already own an orion, my wife wanted it for the side button, it does produce great flavor but I'm not a fan of the switch, I have to hold it awkward to have it wick and fire the switch, if the switch was opposite of the air hole, I would use it.

I love the feedback Crypt, I do. I'm not like most suppliers, I value it :) I would love to send you an updated version for feedback, for free of course. I'll even send you a spider to get feedback on the anodizing :) If you dont like it, just send it back :)

That machine oil wont be there, I run them through a cleaning process :)

Ya that's what I hated about the Orion I would get cramps in my hands trying to get to wick right a with a tilt and wick down but button was akwardly placed...also don't think I should have to sand tanks down to line up air hole...this should have been done prior to shipping IMHO. V3 sounds cool though vv hybrid might be interesting

The reason I didn't come to you is simple. About a month after I got my device you realized that you should have flame polished the tanks, you had people tell you that you should but you didn't and people were having juice develop on the outside of the tank. You said that those who had one of those first raw cut tanks could get a free flame polished tank, but they had to send you shipping cost or order something else and it would ship then.....you customer service may have improved since but back the we were asked to pay to receive a replacement for an inferior item that was originally shipped. It should have been handled like the other device vendor handled his new device upgrade kit.....his fault it's yours no charge. BTW....everyone keeps pointing to a device that they received at con that wasn't perfect and required a lil tweak to get going correctly....the alternative would have had none of those devices available to purchase. The vendor even offered to fix every device for the consumer if they sent it in because they didn't feel comfortable with the needed tweak, that vendor was found that st no charge as well. I don't know about you but if a device only requires a lil tweak to get right, I would rather have gotten it at con vs fighting the web page wars and possibly coming up empty....but that's just me.
