Gray,GA.
This reminds me of the hybrid wicks with the silica inside the mesh wicks. Haven't tried it, but it seems like a good idea.

I never had good results with that set up, It pulled all the e juice to the center of the wick and had very dry hits. now I have never used the silica on the outside of the SS wick. May defeat the clean taste of the SS mesh wick though. I use a fat SS wick in my Lobrid and I NEVER have to tilt unless I want to go scuba diving.

Playing around with Cotton wrapped in SS in the iHy again and totally recommend it (if you have the extra time to prep it).

Morning all! Hope everybody has a great Saturday!

Yahs, Faceless! Thanks for new switches! Can't wait to order one!

Just got my first ihybrid and took some pics of my set up. I hate to tilt it whenever I vape so I used kenthal wick and ss mesh(400) together, So it hold juice longer. All you have to do is tilt it to wet the wick once. I think this way, it decrease posibility of poping coil problem also.

I'm trying, I do this as a hobby. Some people collect baseball cards, comic books, and do other stuff, I like collecting mods and making different stuff. I'm always tinkering with stuff and making changes. The questions I get through email really get to me. I need to set up one of those auto systems where you talk to a robot in chat, that responds "did you read the page?" and such before able to email me. Like on the paypal site. anyone know how to set those up? I need a FAQ page also. Guess I'll make one of those also. Its gonna delay some stuff until I get this situated, you wouldnt believe some of the voicemails I get LOL

side note: is there any modder that puts stuff out faster than me? maybe I need to just blend in with the other ones and have long list, people cant even wait 2 days with me, my site even says estimated shipping dates, I think I have hit them all with 2-3 days :)

Playing catch up this morning.

We have found, in our years of selling items online, it really doesn't matter how much information you offer potential customers.
Rather written form, or through answering incoming phone calls.

There will always be that certain percentage of folks who just. won't. read. Or listen.
We can have something posted like:
Awesome New Product
$12.99
Blue
25"
IN STOCK
and damned if someone won't send us an email, asking "Do you have this in blue? And if you do, is it in stock and how much is it? Oh, and how big is it?" I don't know if they just went right to the contact form and didn't even look, or if they just looked at the pretty picture and totally skipped all the text.

We also try to make text short but informative, because we have found most people, when faced with "too much" text will just skip over it and then complain that "we didn't tell them" such and such. They just won't read it, then blame us.
On the other hand, we'll get those that will complain that we don't have enough information in the 8 paragraphs already there.

In short, you will always have those that will find something to complain about, those that will find some way to blame you for their own shortcomings, and those that will ask you repeatedly for already posted readily available information they just refuse to look at for themselves. They want you to hold their hand through the entire process. You'd be surprised at how many people will look down when you tell them "you dropped your eye" or "you're standing on my ear". Try it some time. LOL

The service part of customer service sucks. Plain and simple. Since the hubby and I both will tend to yell *@ck you back at someone yelling that at us over the phone, we have farmed that aspect out to my sister and my niece. LOL We don't answer the phone or email anymore.

Goodmorning iHyb's!

My Green v2 feels already at home. Just set her up with 28 awg kanthal 6/7 wraps @ 1.6 ohms.
The Pluid tastes even better than in the Zen. I put in a tiny Orion O-ring to be able to align the tank sleeve cut outs with the logo. It leaves just a tine space between SS ring and tank sleeve.

A suggestion for Faceless: next time cut out on the opposite side of the tank sleeve also the radiation holes this will make the Pluid more shiny by the infalling light!

Thanks man! That dead tray is the top to my juice box :) it used to be my weed box and joint rolling tray when i used to smoke :)

I could tell by the way you were rolling that wick you had experience. ;) When rolling something I dont know any other way. LOL!! It always boils down to that experience. Great video. Even I should be able to tackle that! thanks for doing the video.[/QUOTE]
lol yeah i had lots of experience at doing that lol! I appreciate that you like the video :) maybe i will make some more on other topics if any are needed.... i think tonight i am going to do a review on the GE v1 for everyone :)
Finally caught up. There was some great reading in here. Some of it was priceless!!

Im going to give the Blaine vid a try to see how things go. I know Ill be good to go soon. Blaine just a quick question. You cut 3 x 2. Then roll the 2 inch side right? Just checking to make sure.

I know I have read in here somewhere. But does anyone use 100% VG in the iHy? Will it work using Blaines method of setting up a wick and coil? Ill be trying to get a 4 coil going. TIA!!
for the 3x2 wick the 3inch part is the width and the 2inch part is the height :) and yes 100% VG will work fine with this method and any other method :)

Wait 'till you see the feedback form.

Can't wait!

So silica pulls too much juice to the center, but cotton doesn't then?

Silica and cotton seem to wick about the same for me.

If the center material is wet but the outside material isn't, you need to tighten the wrap (or use more SS mesh).

morning all. I got my iHy fired up this week and it just keeps calling me "vape me, Vape me". I like everything about it; the weight, the finish, the versatility and the VAPE. I am getting over the flu so unfortunately I cannot even taste Pluid!

I usually vape my nasty juices when I have a cold. Can't taste anything anyway.

Morning!

Nice, looks like thing are happening fast around here :)

Everything I try on the iHy just makes it better and better.
First coil was 30 gauge ... Awesome but felt like .2 ohms too high
Second coil 28 gauge .... More awesome but I have trouble with the stiff 28g so it wasn't pretty.
Third coil twisted 32 gauge ... Freakin 5X more awesome :D

So it seem I'm catching up to what many all ready know. I just hope I can duplicate this set-up time and time again for the next 20 years!

Gotta get a second iHy ... I hovered over the Paypal add to cart button for a standard several times yesterday.
But I keep thinking for 40 bucks more I should wait and try to score a illuminati LE ..... I'm not terribly patient though.
So hearing they might be ahead of schedule is great news. I think I can wait until the 16th.

Have a good one.

And don't forget the 14500's will be out soon too.
