Clutter is irrelevant really...and it's not really clutter. It's an option for those that want it, and those that don't can completely ignore it.

Thought the same, was iffy about it. Love my dual wick bliSS, hard to go back.

As you know, I'm for it. My question is hiw do you think it will perform with only one air hole?

Think it depends where the wick holes are.

If they're close together 1 should be enough.

If they're on opposite sides we'll need 2 and than we'll need an option for a different top cap.

Ohhhh can we get an option for 2 smaller holes stacked instead of 1 larger one?

That's what i was thinking, maybe be abke to buy an extra top cap or even an option for a two hole or one. Hell in a perfect world a cap that you could close off a hole if you only wanted to run 1 coil..

I was wondering if the battery life would suffer. Is the point that you could run two 3.0 Ω coils and get the same vapor as one 1.5 Ω coil with less heat.

Whats the benefit running dual coils?

I don't agree with dual/triple coil carto's...they put an even heavier undue strain on your batteries and cause shortened life...and its the biggest reason I wouldnt want a dual coil rba...not needed.

Sure, of course, it halves the ohms. More amp draw.

Never tried a dual coil carto so I can't say if it makes a difference or not. Sure makes a huge difference in flavor, throat hit and general intensity on a genesis.

It's not for everyone I admit, but it certainly does provide a much different experience.

It's not just about halving the ohms either. A single wick 1 ohm vapes differently then a dual wick 1 ohm. Twice the wraps in the dual coil setup. The vapor is pretty intense. Like it or hate it, it's a good option to have since you sacrifice nothing by having it...other then a couple extra screw heads under a top cap you don't see very often.

Yeah, it is a really different experience. I think it has a lot to do with all of the added surface area of the heating coil- and dual coil carto's are a similar idea- they vape like a carto, but stronger.

true, but IMO, I'd rather keep my batteries for as long as possible rather than risk battery failures.. there's reasons why more experienced vapers go back to single coil carto's or stay with single coil atty's for dripping..and really though, there is no benefit from dual coils unless you are vaping at higher voltages :p low voltage, LR dual coils don't put out any more vapor/flavor IMO than a single...if they did, then you would see a lot more of em around being used by long-timers...

Can we have an option for both? Would love a different top atty.

Would love to play with it but not sure if I would use it all the time.

I say this would be the best option select single or double wick hole when you purchase the iHy. It could also be an option to purchase both , this way everyone is happy.

Not a bad idea if the holes were side by side
