I really don't know where to post this, so since this is the thread I'm most active in I'll post it here. Heard about this today while listening to the Mysterious Universe podcast and it's been blowing my mind all evening...

Now go to google images and do a search for "Black Knight Satellite". There are several photos of the object in question taken direct from the STS-88 shuttle mission.

Hello and thanks wasn't sure if i could post a link. Here ya go .
Woven Wire Mesh Stainless Steel 500 Mesh 3"x3" Filtration | eBay

Thanks for the link me1969 !

Hi Lady! Thanks for all your work on the iHybrid google Doc!

Hey thanks Mayhem! Your timing is perfect! I wanted to let everyone know that I'm pretty much done updating the Spreadsheet for the last few days. I got rid of a bunch of junk and moved stuff around so it's easier to find what you're looking for.

There's a section now for just VENDOR Links (and notice that all the Vendors have BOLD FONT)!

I think you guys are going to LOVE it! Check it out for yourself ! :) The iHybrid Reference Links

I've never used or read any thing about dual wicks so I can't give an opinion.

Same here Out Of The Ashes! I'm having enough trouble keeping the singular one running smoothly!

So should I change the mesh ???

ya don't really have to change the mesh, just dont tip it up so high, vaping at 4 or 5 on a clock or pinch the top of the wick could help if you don't have a solid rolled wick. it tends to happen more with wicks that act like a drinking straw rather than a solid one...

There is some 500 mesh on ebay but 7.50 for a 3"x3" sheet.

The Mesh Company: Online Shop for Woven, Knitted and Perforated Mesh for Art, Craft, Floristry, Modelling and Engineering

They are in the UK but the shipping is fast. I had ordered some wire from Kingorchid on ebay and they arrived on the same day.

Sure, of course, it halves the ohms. More amp draw.

Never tried a dual coil carto so I can't say if it makes a difference or not. Sure makes a huge difference in flavor, throat hit and general intensity on a genesis.

It's not for everyone I admit, but it certainly does provide a much different experience.

It's not just about halving the ohms either. A single wick 1 ohm vapes differently then a dual wick 1 ohm. Twice the wraps in the dual coil setup. The vapor is pretty intense. Like it or hate it, it's a good option to have since you sacrifice nothing by having it...other then a couple extra screw heads under a top cap you don't see very often.

That ^

Ever since I saw Mac's dual coil setup on his mod I been wanting to try it.

I would say go for it. No problems with extra holes as long as they can be plugged. The top cap might could be an issue. If the wicks are close together one might do it. If they are opposite then I think 2 air holes would be necessary otherwise the TH will be a lil harsh. Or just offer extra plain top caps so if people want to buy one to have and drill it themselves?

Speaking of Mac I can wait till I get mine. Should be soon and will be my first time to use a duel coil. To have the duel coil setup on the iHy would be a very nice option

I'm caught up. I always get so far behind on the weekends.

Got snow last night!! It all melted away by today. I'm glad cause I'm not ready to not ride my motorcycle. "Snow" is the 4 letter S word in my house lol.

Snow sucks. I ride year round. Really surprised more people don't down here. Georgia is a good riding state. But not many hardcore bikers around here.

Vaping 18 months. Started with no.7 cigalike. Then roughstack for a year. Lavatube. VV gripper. Many rebuildables. IHY coming on xmas. I still use the roughstack a lot with my rebuildables when I want to crank out some amps!!! I diy most juice and have actually saved money vaping. It is hard holding back with all the wonderful mods out there, but with all those kids gotta keep my donuts in the bank. I try to keep a balance with expanding my vaping experience while keeping my cravings satisfied. That is one of the great things about this thread. I can see everyones mods and get secondary pleasure without spending too much. LOTS of good eye candy. Thanks folks. Morning ASH.

I ride rain or shine, its the S word that throws a wrench in it for me. NM is a good ride state though. There is maybe a max of 10-20 no ride days for me. I just hate each and every single one of them lol. I love my truck don't get me wrong. I've had it since it was brand new in 1990 lol. Most reliable truck I've ever owned etc etc. Praises. BUT, it sure as hell isn't a motorcycle.

Morning ASH!!

I started out with a nameless ecig type thingy with one of those contracts for cartridges for it... They are still sending me those shats and I keep sending them back.... Worked for about a week then got fed up because I was charging more than vaping and it tasted bad.

Aprox 6 months later a friend started vaping with a twist. Inspired me to buy a Volt. Needless to say that didn't go over so well and I eventually sent the thing back to the factory for a refund.

Bought a twist. This is what actually got me off the stinkies. Found dripping. Loved it/hated it. The vape was good but I hate actually having to drip.

Bought a Provari. Waited forever for it to get here. Loved it to absolute death and never put it down. Gave the twists to my mom.

Found out about the VMOD from vapage. Heard it was dripping without having to drip. Bought one and loved it. The wife did too and now I don't get to use my VMOD no more lol.

Got a CHiD from a coop. Intro to rebuildables. Found out that when oxidizing a wick while holding it with your bare hands then quenching it hurts. Started dipping it all the way in the water rather than just the part thats hot lol.

Came across the iHy and havent been happier with vaping since. Provari is sad face and only gets used when I am scared to scratch my iHy. Even then the iHy is with me for those times I know it will be safe. Looking to buy a Ti-Hy for my out and about and not worrying about it getting scratched and also the LE's that catch my eye as/when I can afford them. Possibly trading the Provari off or selling it after I get some 510 toppers for my iHy's cause for some reason I keep using a carto about 1-2 times a week lol.

All this within what? 2 1/2 months? lol Main thing is I was a 2 PAD smoker for 14yrs and within a matter of 2 weeks I didn't want another stinkie ever again.

I pretty much ride year round here in Indiana....at least until the first snow and even after that if the roads are clear of snow and/or ice. Heated gear makes it all possible. I'd say with heated gear I've extended my riding season close to 10 month in total making the cost of the gear well worth it.
