Faceless I just cannot believe what you have done with these. They are awesome my Friend, and there is always going to be people who complain about "Not getting what they wanted" Look at em like a Two year old. Put em in the corner for throwing a fit and ignore them. They will get it eventually LOL.

Keep up the great work my Friend and Kudos for some very impressive PV's with extreme creativity :D
Sincerely;
Nate

All caught up. Congrats to all who managed to get their HR's.

I also want to say thank you to the amazing ladies on this thread that do so much to either inform, or entertain us. Fisty, you're in both categories :). You're all amazing women and we're lucky to have you here with us, each and every one of you :)

You could have just said: thanks for making us feel like we're not part of a sausage fest. Without you, we're just guys with large PV's.

You are such a schmoozer... What's worse is, I know that you're sincere.

Guilty on both counts :)

Nancy's post about not buying an HR, but sticking around to answer questions is what inspired my post. Every woman in this thread adds something to it in their own unique way, and makes it a better place for all of us.

I'd suggest the Mayan 12-21-12 LE be of a different colour......Bronze or Gold..... I like the green, but it does not say Mayan to me:confused:

The problem jc is the more people you turn the more people complain about not having one. Its not his job its a hobby that we get to benefit from. Also, if he hires people then quality suffers. With him being this hands on he constantly makes changes because he sees whats wrong. I for one just dont want him to burn out. This is a ridiculous pace he is setting and I think we are being spoiled. Yet people still complain and just keep coming up with more and more designs. Mad props to you faceless I cant wait to meet you and toast your amazing skill.

Im confused.. should i stop that didn't make any sense man?

It might be difficult to work out the engraving.. but how SICK would a white iHybrid be!!

Can't be done unfortunately. I wanted my design to be white but I got the boot lol. Here is a brief description why....

The anodic layer is also very porous as it comes out of the bath. Because of this porosity, it will absorb and hold dyes and colors well. The piece is usually colored simply by dipping it in a vat of concentrated dye for several minutes. Once the piece has been dyed, it is sealed, simply by immersing it in clean, boiling water for several more minutes. This process, because of the porosity of the oxide, hydrates the crystalline layer, which swells the oxide, closing the pores, sealing the dye within. Because the layer is so thin, the dye must be heavily concentrated, and even then, the color will be somewhat translucent. This is what gives the color anodizing its characteristic metallic sheen; the shiny base aluminum shows through the color. Because of this semi-transparency, the piece cannot be anodized white; the aluminum would show through, giving a light grey color.

Yeah a White one would be EPIC but it is not something that could be done with anodizing. I would highly recommend it be done with that paint they use on the ceramic cookware. It is really hard, shiny and super durable. Just don't know how thick it would have to be. I am going to look into that for the 9/11 LE and see what I can find out about how to do it without changing the dimensions all that much.
