Sounds great overall. Wonder if he'll consider a shorter lower capacity version. I'll pay extra for that... :)

It was discussed...like you, I like shorter, stealth atomizers and 2ml can get me through for a while when going out. However, I've kind of changed my mind after using this for a while. I just don't mind the size of it. It's a lot of extra machining but I don't think a mini version is off the table.

You know how it is around here. People wanted the 500, he built it(just about). If people want it, he might just make it.

Thanks for the links. Can't believe no one has a tank in stock. Anybody know what size from IBTanked fits?

I just ordered some custom tanks @ 22mmx1.5mmx33.34mm...Its what my Zen standard uses. They are a bit pricey though, but You have colors you can choose from also..

Illuminatti is not cursed after sll. Grruss I went your 4 wrap 30 and bammmmmm. Tasty clouds. If you include sweet medicine there are 12 including revisions. I wish I had the whole family. But, I loooooooooove my choices so far.

I just redid one of my coil's to 4 wrap 30 also 1.3 omh and it's working great! :toast:

I just did a 4/5 twisted for the first time and just for the record measures in at 1.5.

so far, I do not see why it is so different than a regular wrapped coil, but will report back. I did try the peter k method (also for the first time) and did notice that the wire is not uniformly wrapped around my wick as is usually the case with mine, so that may be a issue.

I tried the peter k method today but used to large of a drill bit, picked one that fit the wick hole tight, and it left my coil to lose. My wick is smaller dia. then I had thought. :vapor:

I'm still around.. keep playing nice kiddies.. I'm watching y'all with the eyes in the back of my head. :p

[soapbox]

Feel free to talk about other mods and discuss their positive and negative qualities, do not personally attack anyone else for their feelings about those mods, that just ain't right.
I don't care about phones.. really, I don't. I have one with more computing power than my first 10 computers but I use it as an alarm clock and >gasp< a phone, and occasionally as a camera. Any cell phone on the market today could do that so really, I don't care.. and a lot of people don't care. We're here to talk about iHybrids primarily, wicks, coils, and other mods.. and occasionally other random personal things. If you wanna say "I got a new phone, woot" have at it. The responses should be a few "gratz", not 20 pages of debate on phones, okay?
I don't want people to feel like they're being censored, but try to think logically (I've said that before in another context) you're on Faceless' commercial thread for his business on a web-forum dedicated to e-cigarettes. Use some common sense please, and treat people the way you want to be treated.

You can slightly adjust your coil after your wick is installed. Pull a little on the top and/or bottom leads to snug it up...but not much as that defeats the entire purpose. You want it touching the wick, not crushing it.

At least you can just roll a new wick. This method combined with VERY GOOD oxidation solved all of my hot spots problems. I don't have to touch a coil anymore after I tighten the positive, loose-draw screw :) made setting up involve less cursing :)

If you do it right you don't need any oxidation...at all. The oxidation of the wick should be a non issue.

Whatever works for you but the point was to be able to put away the torch by using the method.

This is about the worst wick I can make, threads hanging off of it...touching the bottom of the tank. Touching the top post. It's all of the typical genesis no no's but it vapes without a problem.

That vapes? How does the top of the wick not get CRUSHED! Lol

Maybe that's not the method I use then, I thought the guy still oxidized it :p sorry :)
