Skud dont do that. It will raise your nic level. Like if your using 12 now and order 8 it will work out to 20mg.

Very funny!

yeah your math seems a little fuzzy there Chels :glare:

i'm actually at 18 now, thinking of ordering some super low nic or no nic to cut it with

Evening folks. Long catch up again. I cant really tell the difference between the numbered mesh either. But the higher the number the harder it is to see thru. But I still cant tell 325 from 400. Glasses dont help either. I still cant get my Gorilla juice to wick. So Im going to try the straw method. Been popping coils again! This is getting old fast!!! But Ill try again tomorrow. Never give up! Never surrender!! Ill get it.

Get a microscope, that will make things easier... Sorry, I just don't believe in different mesh sizes = significantly different experience.

Popping coils is infuriating... are you sure you testfire them with half empty batteries?...

standard arrived today & I'm loving it so far. one question: when I screw on cover, the "i" doesn't quite line up with wick. The "i" is about 5 mm to the right of wick. I could sand the bottom of cover a little & it would line up. or I could switch the negative post & wick hole & it would line up, if the holes are the same size. either of these recommended?

Congrats on your new iHybrid! Maybe one of the iHybrid vets here will have a workaround for you.

Just keep practicing!

Hmm, I never had problems wicking with Gorilla Juice but after Genesis atties realized I didn't like the juice.

How much mesh are you using? For thicker juices I try to use 3+ inches of mesh.

Spare weak batteries or try using 30g wire. 30g wire is a bit easier to setup and less likely to pop.

The nic should be 10mg if he mixes 1:1 12mg : 8mg. Guess it depends where he wants to be. No matter what, he won't be able to get the nic lower than 8mg.

Good luck!

Wick & Wire these guys have the cheapest #500 i've seen yet

We didn't have that Vendor, theN3...thanks. I added to the Spreadsheet. They do appear to have competitive and reasonable prices.

Aand, if you read my last post you can disregard it, because it appears his 400 and 500 mesh seem to be made of the exact same wire.

Ah well, hope we're not getting shafted, lol.

Seriously? Well, dang! I don't know which vendors to leave on our list? It doesn't appear that we can definitely tell if these vendors are sending something different than we are ordering? If anyone figures this out...please let us know so we can stop using a vendor that is ripping us off? Jeeze!

Some tips I have...
-make sure you're not using a fully charged battery. One that is at about 3.5 volts would probably make it a bit easier to get the coil broken in. Pulse it and if you see a hot spot let off the switch and adjust the coil...then pulse again.
-I have found using a twisted coil makes it a lot easier for people having coil issues to set up. I think there is a post twisting a coil in this thread I read last night...it's probably several pages back by now.

Escape, I'm glad you're finding the coil process so easy, but I do hope that everyone reads the WARNINGS associated with Twisting Coils. There are a lot of new members and, maybe I'm being TOO cautious, but I was surprised at the potential hazards. I'm just sayin'.....

I have a question for you all. I searched the reference spreadsheet and came up empty (quite a document, kudos!).

Is the lock ring on the new V2.1 iHy Aluminum or SS?

Thanks in advance...

The switch/locking ring is aluminum on the ihy ' s

ajohnson...thanks for bringing that to our attention! It's on the spreadsheet now (Line 79) - (And thank you BNS :))

I see you're in Colorado... Did you hear about those kids.... lol

SD, I didn't hear about this....what?

30,000!!!!!!!!!!!

Where's my Hell Raiser when I need it?!?

Gratz SD!

Peace everyone! For awhile. I'm thinking Steak n Shake after practice...yup, I've decided.

In Hybrid news, my battery tube is still stuck to my atty!! It got stuck as I was trying to twist the tank off for cleaning... any advice? It seems I should just be able to use enough force, but eventually the tank starts to spin again!!

Check the Spreadsheet, Lines #77 and 78. That's about stuck switches. My battery tubes were stuck. Someone suggested heating with a blow dryer. It worked. When I cleaned it and put it back together, I used a thin layer of vaseline...haven't had the problem again.

For those of you who have some great pictures... you really should post them on the iHybrid Pics and Setup Forum

This iHy is kicking my ...., popping coil after coil!

That's the beauty of DIY. You want 8? 6? 4? 2? Just make it!

Apple Tobacco

I agree 100%. Gotta love the ability to make fine adjustments. The hardest part is waiting while letting it steep. I admit I cheat, and drip a few drops here and there while waiting. lol A week seems to be perfect for everything besides tobaccos. They seem to take more time.

I was practicing. Now drinking lol. Rock n roll! I got a digital one at Home Depot for 20$. It's fun to break that thing out. I've become an expert at guessing 3.6 on my batteries!

Can't tell if you're sincere kman lol

I bought it from face's site. I used a total of 4 magnets. Yes, place them at exactly where the springs sit. I use 3 at the bottom and 1 at the top to repel. Giving it an effortless throw. You should try it. :)

Im new to the IHY .. Will this work in any IHY ? i have the 9/11 edition .. Thanks
