The problem I was having with some of mine was the post was a bit too thin, he's gotten better (all mine are the older ones) and he's including an extra thicker o-ring now too if you need it so it shouldn't be an issue.

The new switch would be 100% more badass.....if not only the bottom was engraved, but all around the outside as well.
Im still iffy on the new design, but you really cant knock it till you try it.
I like form AND function, a design (pattern) on the outside as well would really set it off I think, at least on the LE's.

I agree there...it's all gonna be dependant how those cut-outs line up with my pinky(s) when holding and firing the button...already i've been thinking about getting a switch that doesn't line up right and having the 'points' positioned wrong for me and having to hold it all in an odd angle, trying to fire it ;P (I'm normally right handed, and the dominant hand is a bit mangled from an accident when I was younger lol) I am quite happy with the current button on my dragon (but don't care for the reverse thread lockring lol) but we shall see how the new one turns out...
Less moving parts is a good thing. I do like the current switch and I believe I can use it without mangling the locking ring, but I think there were too many heavy hands twisting the shiznit out of them.I think it's a logical evolution.looking forward to it's simplicity, and it's customization with side graphics which I am sure faceless will address.

Yeah kinda strange.
I think it may be something with my layout. for instance on this thread there are currently 3080 pages showing for me but a few days or day ago someone said it was only 750ish pages.

The problem with engraving designs on the sides of the switch is that Face can't engrave around the whole circumference of the tube, his machines can only engrave straight down in one plane. To do engraving around the outside of the switch would require sending that part of the switch to the laser engraver. I don't know if Face wants to do that as it adds shipping time both ways, he can't just drive over there and drop it off, or walk out to his shop and do it himself.
Oh I see. I thought he was doing the laser himself. Me personally, I think it looks great as is.
ASH. I said you can move into the basement of my house if you let me hold that Orion. I think you would die of disculture shock here in south Georgia.
