Don't mean to be obnoxious. I have been here from the start. I, too, have personal reasons for wanting Sweet Medicine. That's a project very close to my heart.

You're kidding, right? When I think Sweet Medicine, I think of you, our sweet Otter... I honestly thought the mod was for you, and if it isn't, then maybe it should :)

As usual for Christmas I ate so much that now I am a bursting bubble... Merry Christmas, all!

Nice helis! I love my little mCPx, super fun little bugger. I don't think much is left from the original one after I've slammed it into the ground on many occasions learning some 3D lol :D

It was kind of for me, I guess. That's why the project is so near to my heart. I helped Fisty with some design features.

Yeah it's another addiction of mine as well. :D I have four helis, two 3m wing sailplanes, 2 rock crawlers and a few little brushless micro T's. No boats though, that would be fun if I had somewhere to run them. I need to spend some more time on the mCPx, I've got a carbon frame and brushless conversion I've yet to get going. Money and time at a shortage this time of year. Sorry :offtopic: lol Love me some RC!

I had a friend in elementary school who's dad flew these gigantic RC helicopters. He would practice on his laptop before he flew them?! Is this common, bc I thought it was smart.
I had a Walmart one, and it was destroyed after a "late night". Lol

Yes my father in law does the simulators as well. Practice makes perfect when flying something you spent months and thousands building. He has this one plane that actually has 3 cameras mounted in the cockpit and the person flying the plane wears something similar to a virtual reality helmet that give a live feed as you fly the plane so as he is controlling w/ the rc controller he sees whats going on in the air as a first person view

and we think vaping is an expensive hobby? i can't imagine what all those planes/helis cost!

exactly....I have a lot of cash tied up in my hobbies, not one of 'em is cheap...between my RC stuff, my flyfishing gear, blackpowder and other 'powderburners', my archery gear, scuba gear, my mountain bikes, guitars, let alone my vape gear....they're all never-ending hobbies I enjoy immensely ;)

yeppers, before I even bought my first heli back in the late '80s (a .30 nitro Hirobo ZXX), which I still own and fly (and believe it or not, never crashed), I flew many hours on a sim at the local hobby shop back then....since that time, i've owned every incarnation of the Realflight sim (and using the current v6.5)

Flyfished the Salmon River near you a couple of years ago, got a nice king but that was the only bite in two days of fishing. Was fun.
