BTW I did win the drip tip giveaway that was posted on Faceless facebook, I also tried for one for Nancy but that entry did not win . I found out this morning and picked out a DT for my HR (red w/flames) sent in my order and it shipped in like 10 minutes. WOW I will post pictures when I get it.

IF there's a short, it will/should read 0... it's the same as just touching the leads together....

I havent found this to always be true, depends on where the short is, I've had pretty obvious shorts that still gave a reading, i figured the short just jumped coils (like went from coil one to three for example, causing a nasty hotspot in 1)

Just made a twisted 32 3/4, hitting really well. I wonder if I could go 2/3. I don't have a tester at the moment.

I wouldn't try that out until you get your hands on a multimeter, just for safety reasons. Honestly it will probably just short out or light on fire, but as twisted basically halves resistance per length, a 2/3 wrap would be extremely hot of twisted 32g. I am using a 5/4 wrap of 32 twisted right now, but I wouldn't recommend going lower than your 3/4

Chi_You looks hot and I have a brass one coming, but you may want to look at this review, and more importantly, the comments over on youtube when considering. I don't think the Synthesis will fit on it without a 510 adapter.
