why do we find it awesome when a woman buys us a drill press for Christmas, but if we buy them a vacuum or an iron there will be hell to pay?

Because you can do some pretty cool things with tools like a drill press, like making pv stands. All you can do with a vacuum or iron is clean and take the wrinkles out of clothes....there's no creativity in that!

Here's the pv stand I built a while back.


Why is it that nobody ever takes me seriously when I ask for tools for Christmas? I was really hoping for a 3/4 inch roughing gouge, lol.

Mata I have read in some posts that alot of vendors will not ship to Singapore and Italy is that true?? Why is that??

Its even easier if you just attach the 2 strands right to the negative post on the iHybrid, then put an allen key through the loop and twist away, wrap the coil, tighten the positive, trim excess, done.

No tools required other than what you were already using....

Thanks for the tip Skud! Yeah I was using the allen wrench twisting it (pain) and holding the other open ends with a pair of needle nose pliers. I was holding the whole thing horizontally. But what you mentioned with the vice grips probably works way better to keep the tension. I kept twisting until it broke off. Seemed very tight almost to the point where the wire was started to bunch up if that makes any sense... then it just snapped. Next I'm gonna try your way probably way easier. Thanks again!

lol the screen name has a long story and it's shortened from Matatan, my first ever character in World of Warcraft...matatan in Puerto Rican slang means killer or something like that and friends from my guild used to call me Mata all the time.
i don't know about the vendors issue, i know the Captain from RedSky mods stopped to ship to italy, i always thought it was an issue with italian customs that are particularly strict (or dumb). Btw i never had an issue apart from long waits (almost two months for a GP Paps from Dubai) or obscene duty fares.

no no, ecigs are not illegal in Italy and new shops open every day (in Rome alone there are 47 shops already).
They have tried to put some strict rules on eliquids but the law hasn't passed.

I got a shipping notice from 12-22 that still just says electronic info received so I assume they haven't got the the PO in TX yet. Just trying to make some plans for pick up because we are going away for a week on Saturday.

Any help with an update without reading back 30 pages would be much appreciated .... thanks

I noticed this, last post between here and facebook was christmas eve. Makes me kinda concerned about how the kids are doing. They are far more important than any merch he may or may not be making/sending out. Hopefully they are feeling better and he is just taking some time to make a holiday out of things. I'm just getting over about a 3 week bug that kicked my ... pretty bad, hope his son didnt get the same sickness.

Being sick is bad enough. Sick + all of the hustle and bustle of the holiday is enough to put anyone out of circulation for a few days. I'm sure that things will be back to normal shortly. Everybody needs to focus on family from time to time.

Yep, and I know face is smart enough to know this also (he has said as much, that balance between work and family is important to him). He makes a good enough product that he's allowed lol.
