No vape stuff for christmas. My wife is a smoker and my inlaws dont know we do either. So I carried a ego twist in my pocket and dripped whenever I had time. Funny thing is my wife and her brother were borrowing it every chance they got. Man I forgot how good illa nilla is when it is steeped. I did however use my christmas money along with money from a sale to buy a new zag yesterday. It used to be owned by some otter on here. (small vape world) So now the gg might not just sit on a shelf all the time. Did you get any vape gear?

Its even easier if you just attach the 2 strands right to the negative post on the iHybrid, then put an allen key through the loop and twist away, wrap the coil, tighten the positive, trim excess, done.

No tools required other than what you were already using....

I think I will try that out...

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents about the twisted 32awg. I had been recommending the under the post twist method also. But, I Have switched Take a 3 foot length of 32 fold it in half. Put a hex key on your drill or power screwdriver. Hook the loop to it pull tight and go. That gives you enough to make several coils and the tighter the twist the better it seems to work for me. Hand tightning is ok but this is even better.

i do the hanging vise grips method for a few reasons. 1. the coils just seem to work better and 2. there's no need to heat treat the wire to get it to straighten out, it comes out perfectly straight every time.

Charger, i think my method and your method are getting pretty much the same results, except i do one coil length at a time (although I generally make 5 or 6 in a sitting, since they only take a few seconds each and I like to carry extras with me in my car. btw, i've found the tube the iHy ships in to be perfect for carrying extra pre-twisted wire and mesh/wicks)

in theory, a tighter twist adds a bit of "travel length" to the wire, in the sense that the electricity has a slightly longer path to travel through due to more twists in the wire, which might be good if you feel your coils are testing just a fraction of an ohm two low. i can't imagine it makes more than a 0.1 or 0.2 difference, at the very most, but it's something to keep in mind. to me, the tighter twists also eliminate any chance of minute separations in the two wires.

+1 Using a drill makes it much easier. I also like to twist a few feet at a time as then when a coil goes out, I already have twisted available instead of adding that step to making new coil.

If there is no drill around (for example when we were down south) a pair of pliers will do the trick. With no drill I usually will take my length of wire, put it around something like a door handle, or anything sturdy with a hole in it, then grab the open ends with the pliers and spin.

Nice, stealth-vaping at a family gathering New ZAG huh? I don't have one of those yet, I had a ZAP for a little while I borrowed froma friend, but that was a little while ago. Nope I didn't get any vape gear this Christmas, though I did give my youngest brother a kit as a present. He likes it I did however get a Visa gift card that said "Cause nobody knows where to buy your ecigs" on it Its going to a Rosewood VVW this month

Glad to hear it. I'm currently filling my office with thick clouds of Pluid from my GE V1 I love that there are so many different LE's now!

You know Skud I found that my tighter twists worked better too. I personally thought that it made shorts even less possible, due to the twists touching the wick more frequently than a looser twist. But I could be wrong I just found tighter = better on my setup

Also, when attaching to the negative screw I usually twist a couple extra times with my fingers near the screw, cause sometimes the twist comes apart a bit at that point when tightening the screw down.

Seriously. I love being able to control every aspect of vaping, from the juice ratios to the coil. My VV devices don't get as much use as they used to tho. Its all about each vaper's preferences, you can change anything! lol

I think the twisted tastes way better. I was lazy I have 30 on now. But, when I get home tonight its new wick time and 32 twisted is going back on. New wick is always interesting. Till that thing settles in really have to be a coil ninja for about 5ml.

All right brings me to something I have been agonizing over. Do you think it a wise idea to split up a le set. I only use 18350 but. Value wise I think it would crush it. I just dont know. It makes sense but I dont kn ow. Thoughts?

It really is amazing. When I first started vaping the eGo-T had just come out, and boxmods were starting. Pretty sure at the time the Provari was the premier vape Can't wait to see what's next. I bet APV's will get even smaller, maybe with air-assisted atomizers. Where it just pumps vapor for you, I saw that a guy was working on that fairly recently

That is what I do as well. It works extremely well, and it is very quick.

That is a tough call because who wants to split up a set. Plus if you ever decide to sell it it wouldn't be a complete kit.

But on the other hand I totally agree that it would be a great value. Especially if there were two people, one who likes 186350 and one who likes 18350, then you could really get value out of color kits. Only one person would get the LE tank sleeve and top cap tho. Still wouldn't it be cool to have a Sugar Skull bottom half with a HR LE top half?? I think it'd be rockin'
