I used to have a colt ar-15, and an ak, but always prefered my sks..to me it was smoother and more accurate for such an inexpensive weapon...I currently don't have 'em anymore thx to my first divorce (in Ma. lol), had to give up ALL my powderburners with no way of getting 'em back lol.... I've been biding my time in replacing the couple dozen (not all but quite a few), just had other priorities to take care of first....another sks will be the first on my list...

Nice pup. I have an SKS w/ SGworks bullpup kit on the way. The run on weapons has been crazy due to the things going on... I tried to find another AK at a reasonable price... it is nearly impossible right now.

Give it a day.. mine cleared up after a day of use.. its great now..

I love my AK, but my favorite is my AR.. was gonna grab another but like you said all this crap happened and people are selling .... for crazy prices... lol sound familiar?

Come on... reveal your secrets. That's the shiniest iHy I have ever seen.

I used a electric motor with a compound wheel.

I used the white compound there (cut and color in one), which is for chrome or stainless steel...not nonferrous metals like aluminium or brass. But with applying light pressure at the end of the polish I was able to get a good shine out of the tubes. The stainless steel parts you can see has an excellent luster.

The right color bar for aluminium is a brown for cut and color, or red for color.

You can get these compounds at mcmastercarr.com

Watching your video... Mine only had the one screw in it. And it was loose. No idea if it is a tight draw or open draw screw. There was no screw in the post, just the one loose in the large bag.

was the top rounded or flat? the tight draw screw is taller and flat on top, the loose draw is shorter and rounded.

Yea it came new from the yuma train store (I smile every time I type that, because I "get" to spend a little time in Yuma every year) and I am not going to worry about it. Its a 25 cent allen head after looking looking at Face's site. Just kind of tweaks me a little that I didn't get everything I was supposed to, the packaging was sort of lacking, and pieces/parts (350 tube and top screw) were floating around in the bag, plus the tank protector was marred.

Regardless, it is vaping really nice now and though I don't love the switch, it does fire really reliable and is much nicer then other bottom button switches I have used like he Zen, OrionV1, Precise+, Paps/GUS, and a few others.
