Ok. Maybe I'm an old woman, BUT, WTH is going on with the "extreme vaping"?? I saw a post on FB where this guy says he has 28g Kanthal..2/3 wraps...then says it's measuring 58 watts???!!!!! Is that even possible? But, most importantly WHY? I mean, do you WANT to blow your head off, literally? Damn, with banning always looming over our heads, people need to stop and think before fatalities begin to happen.

Totally with you on this! What the heck is wrong with what we have? Is there really a need to strap jet engines an your car? Someone is going to get hurt.

Kind of along the same line on the "wicks" - sure they may work, but is the source really reliable? Don't get me wrong, I respect the source for his mod making abilities, and its fine if HE wants to do test (more than a month or two), but I think it not right to publicize it on forums where you can surely bet there will be a lemming-like effect, encouraging others to put themselves in possible danger. I shudder a bit when I imagine a scenario where vaping existed 30 years ago, and somebody saying, "Man! Check out these asbestos wicks! They're amazing"! I definitely would not be an early adopter, especially when good old stainless steel works just fine. There may be nothing wrong with this new wick type, but I dont want to gamble on it.

I can understand pushing the limits to further something we all love, but not at the risk of safety and health - after all, we quit smoking for safety and health, right?

58 watts on a fresh 4.1v charge is 14.1 amps on a 0.3 ohm coil...roughly.

AW IMR 2000mah have a discharge rate of 8amps...

I don't know if that means they will only discharge a maximum of 8 amps or if that is the safe limit and you should not try to pull more from the battery like 14.1 amps. Anyone?
