FP arrived today. Mailman didn't show up until nearly 5:30 tonight. I was beginning to think it wasn't going to come. I managed to get a working coil on my second try. I don't have a multimeter handy so I have no idea what it's measuring at. I'm getting plenty of vapor, but not a whole lot of flavor. I don't know if that's because of the juice I'm using, the wick, or the coil. I suspect I may just need to give it some time to break in, or I may need to try a different juice.

This thing is absolutely gorgeous though! The engraving is remarkable. It's going to take me a while to get used to a bottom switch, but it's really easy to use. I ordered some of the ribbon wire somebody mentioned earlier and I have three backup tanks ordered also. I'm probably going to want to get some more mesh eventually, but otherwise I'm good to go.

I'm really glad people in our thread have been taking a moment to send their comments to the FDA.

I just wanted to remind you this is only the beginning, soon the FDA will propose what they call the 'deeming regulation' that will place e-cigarettes under the Tobacco Act and, consequently, lots of trouble.

Please consider going and submitting your comments to the FDA. I know ECF has a banner about it, but it's worth another reminder.

Find more info here.

Submit your comments here: Regulations.gov (there is a blue button in the right upper corner).

Thanks. I apologize in advance, but I will repost this a few times until the deadline.

Got the flower power today, was going to give it to the wife for Christmas but this is a little too late for that. What does everyone here think just give it to her or wait till Valentines day??
She is currently working a Sieligi Telescoping Mod with an AGA-T and smokes about 4-6 ciggs a day.

I guess the question should be, do you want her happy, or do you want to be sleeping on the sofa?

I have 6 different hybrids that I have used for a couple of months now so I am not to new to this. This is the first Ihybrid I have owned though so did not know if I may be doing something wrong. My husband introduced me to iHybrids. He has a Standard and a HellRaiser. I got my first but probably not last LE today, the FlowerPower.
It is gorgeous and I can't wait for him to set it up for me. THIS mod will be what I quit with and this time for good!

Why don't you have him walk you through setting it up on your own? My fiance is scared to wrap his own coils, it drives me crazy.

The Breast Cancer Awareness LE is designed and rendered, waiting in Face's PM box for his approval.

And I bought some wedding rings this evening.. https://www.tanga.com/deals/4b13d6737d/light-tungsten-ring-with-silver-dragon-inlay

how are you making your wick and coil? check the reference sheet in my sig it has some good build advise in it.

I use a twisted 32 3/4 with a jack frost and a petar k build on #400 mesh I rarely get the top hotspot doing this.

Very nice rings indeed. I love tungsten and tungsten carbide rings. I have two and they are always perfectly shiny and flawless. How cool would a tungsten carbide iHy be?!?! For the small, small fee of $1,000 I'm sure lol. Would prolly' weigh 4 pounds too, but it sure would be impressive!
