It is likely that I am making a nuisance of myself for starting yet another topic.
Not at all. You are ok posting in the new member forum as a new member.

RE: New Members - "How many posts do I need to..."
Might receive more germane responses by posting you questions in a possibly more appropriate subform such as:
General Vaping Discussion
The Lounge
Older Folks and Vaping Back Porch - Part Seven
Tobacco Harm Reduction
Feel free to move about the cabin.

Thus far I have treated vaping in same way as smoking, a very private part of my life.

Any thoughts?

Hi Kati. Welcome to the ECF.

I say do what you feel Most Comfortable with. And if that is keeping your vaping Under the Radar, what is wrong with that?

When I'm out and about or in a Social Situation, I tend to use a more Discrete e-Cigarette. And tend to use it more like how I Smoked. Exercising the same Respect for Non-Smokers as when I Smoked.

I Don't try to Hide it. But then again, I don't try to make a Big Deal about it either.

Finding and Using "safer" alternatives to Smoking is what is Really Important. Because your Health is More Important than what the Naysayers may feel.
