So I've always been super careful with my Vapes. Never dropped, never damaged, never ruined in any way. It's been like this for 6 months.

So 2 weeks ago, I sold all my tanks except my Kayfun Lite. It's the only one I've used for 3 months since I only really vape one flavor. Well, 2 days ago my Kayfun became unusable. I lost the fill screw. The KFL itself is still perfect, but that was my last screw.

Yes, I know I could order the kit online. But I really hate the idea of paying 9$ plues shipping for an entire kit when I only need one screw. I know the sixe is a M2.5 countersunk screw at 4mm long. The only problem is all local hardware stores around me only carry down to an M4 screw. I was considering buying some from Amazon, but you have no idea what you're getting with the descriptions of the items. "din 965 M2, M4, M5, M6, M7 threaded screw flat top, countersunk, pin, 4mm, 8mm, 16mm". Seriously? They want to send me a specific lot of 100 screws, but no where to enter what ones you want and no way to know what they'll send you.

I currently have a Squape and an Aqua on it's way to my house (clones of course lol. Why would I pay 150$+ for a tank when I'm complaining about 9 for a screw kit:p) and now I've gone back to cigarettes for the time being.

That's why I want to stress the importance of backups. Had I not sold my tanks, or had a backup KFL, this situation wouldn't be happenning lol.

Sorry to hear that you had to go back to cigarettes. I guess there's no B&M within driving distance? Not even disposables at a convenience store? I don't mean to sound judgey; maybe you're okay with a vacation to cigaretteland.

Backups are vital. I'm liking my Volcanotube, but I still have the ol' Kanger waiting in the wings.

Two options come to mind. You could drip down to the coil. Just take of the drip tip, give a few drops, stern pull without firing to clear the air hole and vape. It's less convenient but it works. At least for my build it does. The other idea is the kf is designed with a "dropper mode" most people over look. It basically turns the kf into a large carto but it uses so much cotton you may not have a leaking issue. Personally I think I would just tape the fill hole and fill it with the top method. I guess that's 3 ideas.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles, CShaver. :(

And you're right on about the importance of backup tanks/devices. I was just writing in another thread about how I still keep my two little Kanger T2 clearos for just that purpose - as backups for my KF 3.1, Protank 3 and SmokTech cartotank.

I even still have all my Halo G6 and Triton gear as backups for my backups. And around 200mL of electric juice at any given moment. It'd have to be some kind of horrible disaster to render me unable to vape.
