Happy holidays....I have a question...WHAT on Earth is the deal on these batteries? I've recently ordered yet another set (2months ago) because the 4 that I had would not hold a charge. 2 of the 4 were over a year old and the other 2 were about 4 months in. Now I have 6 batteries that I spend the day in charging rotation due to the infamous flashing button after 6 draws O_O...10 draws on a good day. The only thing that I can think of is to perhaps purchase a new charger, but before spending more money I decided to come and ask if anyone has had this issue? Is there something magical that I can try that will get these new batteries working correctly?

Thanks SF

A good cleaning on the ProVari fixed that issue for me, and I only use Pila chargers now. Hope it helps somewhat :)

I had a set of AW IMR 18650 2000 mah batteries that were 18 months old (used every day) and still lasted a full day plus... I believe it was because I also only used a Pila charger........

Dirty battery contacts and dirty threading in the battery cap will interfere with normal battery function. Use isopropal alcohol (highest % you can find) on the inside battery contact with a long Qtip applicator and use Noaloxx (antioxidant) on the threading of the cap.

OP did not say what charger he was using. A high quality charger can make all the difference in the speed of charging batteries and may also prolong their life expectancy.

Pila, Xtar, and Nitecore Intellicharger are high quality chargers for mod batteries.
