So the The Joker is out, great mod, where there have been done a lot around safty, which i personally think is very good, and will set standards
for future mods.
But i'm wondering about one thing about the safety on the Joker and hope there are some one in here with some knowledge regarding the battery protection who can give me some answers.
It's known that the Joker will make a cut-off, when it runs below 4,5V, så
in that state each battery schould measure 2,25V i theory at least, and that should be a safe discharge state of the battery, so that its not damaged and would not get unstable when recharged.
but if lets say one of the batteries is beginning to go bad, then in theory
the mesurement when cut-off limit is reached could be 2,8V one the good battery and 1,7V on the bad battery giving the total amount off 4,5V.
Isn't there a chance that this could happen, and therefore one off the batteries could go bad and become unstable, and in the worse case blow up?
This could offcours be prevented if the cut-off measured each battery seperately, but that just a theory.
for future mods.
