the juices and flavors at v4l

i really really really like v4l and would like to pretty much use them for everything.
i realize there is a whole other world of flavors out there other than those at v4l.
im willing to forgo that world for the most part except perhaps for something exceptional that might occasionally come up. i just dont have the time or patience to surf through the vaping supply world, track different orders, etc.

so..what i would like to know is this: in general, i know there are a lot of factors and specifics here, but in general, in the ball park, are the juices and flavors at v4l generally comparable in their quality and depth of flavor to most other vendors?

If you like their juice I would stick with it. Finding a juice you like is huge! You can spend a lot of money buying juices, cartos to try new juices, and it's no guarentee that you'll like the new juices any better.

The V4L subforum is a pretty big and active place. Post there and get some feedback on some of their juices you might want to try.

the people at v4l, their customer service and friendliness is outstanding. i wouldnt buy hardware anywhere else, as far as their juices i would like to be able to say the same but i just dont know

What type of flavors do you like?

My mom used to vape their 555 and liked it. She tried Backwoods Brew 555, virginia and casablanca and now only vapes BWB casablanca. I've heard good things about their peppermint.

Do you have any favorites from the v4l line? What have you tried so far?

I did not care for many of V4L's flavors (especially cocktail and apple or cranberry ones) but I found my 2 all-day juices there - WOWbacco (it's the the WOW tobacco shop sampler) and WOW Vanilla. I find their WOW juices have a good amount of flavor and the consistency of around 90-80% PG w/ 10-20% VG juices which are what I use in cartomizers (and 80PG/20Vg is also what SmokelessImage and I think Bloogplanet use in cartomizers). In addition, at least the 3 WOW juices I have bought as bottles are light and CLEAR and free of flavoring sediment (I will not use dark, cloudy or opaque juices that drop carto-clogging flavoring sediment)

I shop and stick up during V4L's sales so I don't mind their somewhat high shipping. I use their V4L WOW cartos (keeping my lips cool with their black delrin drip tip) and I use Bloogplanet cartos. I usually alternately which I use. I like both.

So it can be pricy finding your faves but try their sample packs, try carto packs of flavors that interest you that are not in sample packs. I never clean cartos and it is not worth even trying to clean a well-used carto, but it may be worth it for sample cartos you do not like. See Smoktek.com carto cleaning kit and you may need to bake the cleaned cartos in a 175F oven for hours to dry them. For any samples you do like enough to vape, you can top them off with a plain vanilla or a plain tobacco (whichever blends better) and get your use out of them.

Out of what I tried at V4L I liked my faves WOWbacco and WOW Vanilla, WOWboy (same as WOWbacco w/ a bit of mint added), WOW 555 (though it was a strong sweet nutty flavor), and I don't remember if these were WOW or premium - Sour Cherry, Butterscotch, Chocolate covered cherry (but not Cherry Cordial). I think I would like Caramel and Chocolate.

Also since their shipping is not bad, also consider trying the sample packs of cartos at SmokelessImage.

I haven't gotten to try a LOT of v4l flavors but I do have 2 favs from v4l - Java Mint & Peacemaker Peppermint. When I first started I was into Menthol and I really liked Cool & Virginia Menthol, even mixed. But now I have no desire for menthol anymore. I don't like vapes with tobacco flavoring in them, and I think most of the nobacco usa line has that, but I don't taste tobacco in the java mint or peacemaker peppermint flavors. Both are delicious and I just got my 2nd 30 ml of Java Mint.

I use Cool cartos over the wow cartos and I am like dormouse where I also use horizontal coil cartos too from bloog or smokeless image. I like the smokeless image/bloog cartos slightly better, but then, I like the v4l batteries slightly better than the volt batteries.

I DO wash my cartos, I have a method that I have perfected (everyone has to perfect their own method though, and we all have our own opinions on what is best lol). Though I find myself cleaning less of them since I am using the cartos so long now or using the flavors that I know don't completely wash out. I used to just dry them a day or 2 on a paper towel but now I dry them in the oven for about 40 mins at 175 degrees then let dry overnight just in case too, though I am not sure that is necessary. If you decide you want to clean and reuse cartos there are lots of great videos on this, give it a shot. I think it stretches my dollar a little bit.

I have been vaping V4L juices for over two years and some of their flavors are my favorites (Wow Coffee in particular) but I like to try other companies. So far, the only vendor I've found that is just as good - if not better - is Virgin Vapor. When I want a strong flavorful hit of coffee or peppermint, however, I still reach for my V4L juices. I like that they don't have a chemical taste.

V4L's No. 7 ranks right up there with Dekang's DK-Tab as far as a juice that I have to have some of everyday although neither one is an all day vape for me. I also like their Banana Breeze and Bandit Berry. Bandit Berry is an excellent mixed berry juice...one that I've never had any luck in finding until this one.

Another vendor that I really like is topshelfvapes. As for quality and consistency, they rank up there with V4L.
