I received my Kick 2 two days ago and have been vaping on it ever since. Its working very well. I've had zero problems with it. The vapes are consistent almost all the way through battery life. Right before the cut off comes in the vape weakens for the last 3 or 4 vapes. I am vaping an RM2 with a 1.9 ohm coil set at 9 watts. I am getting about 2 ml of juice before a battery change is required. Batteries have come off the Grand with a voltage ranging from 4.23 to 4.4 volts. I am not sure why there is a difference.

The shim was put in to keep the Kick somewhat level as it tilted quite a bit without it in. The erasure pushes the Kick to right assuring a good negative ground.

As you can see from my photograph its a very neat, clean and tidy looking setup.

Schematics to my setup are available to anyone that maybe interested.

I don't think the Kickstand will work with this Kick but I may be wrong. This Kick 2 is shaped somewhat different than the previous one.

i bought a bunch of extra kickstands from ponoko to help save fellow Reonauts from paying the outrageous shipping charge. if you want to give one a shot, PM me yr addy and one will be there shortly

I can now verify that the Kickstand does NOT work with the new Kick 2. Dwallen (Dennis) was kind enough to send me two. Thank you Dennis. The Kick 2 has been rebuilt so the kickstand and Kick 2 will not mate together.
I got mine today I dont need a stand for it . I like the new ground posts very nice . I am thinking about building a 18650 unit that will use this chip or straight 3.7

What I mean is if the chip goes just pull the chip out pop in a plug that transforms the mod into a standard 3.7 volt mod . In the mean time the consumer can buy a new chip from the company who makes the chip and never skip a beat . Most importantly for me is I am not responsible for another companies electronics

It will be nice to have a Grand XT (extra tall) for those who want to use an 18650 and Kick 2.

It would be even nicer if this concept went down to an 18490/500 in a Grand and an 18350 in the Mini 2.1 with a removable Delrin Kick 2 holder and an insulated 15mm H x 18 mm W cylindrical spacer to replace the kick when not used.

A pair of those insulated spacers would also let a current Grand owner safely use 18490/500 and 18350s as well (or a kick with an 18350).

Nice post-apocalyptic thing to have on hand.

Just a thought.

I wouldn't mind seeing a VV grand retrofitted to use the kick2 instead of its current internals and have it run an 18650. Would that even fit?
