I hope that is all you have to do, even though it looks like I might not have. What exactly are the sleaves for?

Not 100% sure, but I believe the sleeve is an extension added on the SB so you can utilize the kick with an IMR 18650 battery as opposed to a IMR18490.

I realize now after going back to the start of this thread that is what it sounds like. I want one of those then and one of those big 18650 imr batteries they have. Guess I have to wait two weeks for that plus. By the sound of him saying 'coat' I would guess they are a body extender.

Well, for the time being, you can still use the IMR18490 in your kicked SB. :) That should hold you over until the sleeve is released.. :)

Yes, it just means better battery life. I like the way Link, the director of the Harm reduction documentary in the VP Live team broadcast of the Atlanta Vape Meet up put it (Paraphrased): Its great you can put the controls of a darwin in one of the sturdiest and time tested mods on the market. I whole heatedly agree!

If you want to use 18650 batteries you will need a sleeve for the SB.

Here is the video on how the Kick works, you do NOT sand anything, you just put it in.

Kick Instructional.mp4 - YouTube

Some silver bullets have to be sanded as they have coating I think around the inner lip.

I asked this question earlier in this thread and chad said no. My question may not have been clear enough, so maybe him or ron could chime in)
The inner lip is not powder coated. The chrome have a bit on the inside, but the chrome is plenty conductive enough. If you find wee bit of powder inside the lip(older) you could use a bit of acetone to clean it out. The sleeves will all be in chrome, it would be a huge PITA to powder coat those little suckers in every color I offer with the SB. I think chrome will go nicely with them all. They will be about 4-5 weeks out. Once we have the ran out it should take 3 weeks to get back from polish and plating. I am not sure on the price just yet, we still have to write the g-code. It should be a fairly simple program to do on the CNC.
