no wonder the fda wants to ban vaping cause of ...... like this.

adults are trying to find a way to quit smoking with the aid of ecigs.

kids do it for fun.

the fda, being all protective and crap ... wants to bad the ecigs as to protect the kids.

in the end legal or not legal everyone will get it. thats just the way it is.

and of course my favorite: "Wheres the button on this?"

I vape for fun now, I quit smoking over three years ago. The FDA has been gunning for ecigs since long before any teen chucked their first cloud.

Can we not start shaming and blaming each other, and keep our focus where it should be? The federal and state governments are trying to restrict and/or kill vaping for everyone.

I vape for fun now...
I'm approaching three weeks vaping zero nicotine.
This is due to my health insurance at work.

But I'm a bit different in that I'm not continuing to vape for fun.
I'm still doing it so I don't smoke, just like I always was.

For me, it's all about the hand-to-mouth thing.
And the something-in-my-hands-to-fiddle-with thing.

Anyway, once I retire I'm going to get right straight back on the nicotine.

I am concerned about the lost health benefits.
It concerns me VERY MUCH not to be using nicotine.
:(

Yeah, I guess I should clarify. I vape nicotine, I enjoy nicotine, I have no intention to stop using nicotine. When I first started vaping, it was because I wanted to stop smoking, and I did. I can't say for certain that I would not return to smoking if I were to stop vaping, but I have no urge to smoke now. I have no desire to quit vaping though, because I enjoy it.

I was just saying that I don't pick up my vape to stave off cigarette cravings, I do it because I enjoy it.

There is an enormous gray area that lies between "I am addicted to nicotine" and "I am addicted to cigarettes" and it is a gray area that has hardly been explored at all for the most part. I know many vapers who swear they are hardcore all about the nicotine, and many who swear they probably don't even need nicotine if push came to shove.

I know which group I belong to.
But I don't doubt that any of us could belong to either, or even both.

What I really don't like is when people ASSUME that their experiences represent everyone else.
That never works too well in life.
:)

EDIT: Not saying you were doing that
EDIT: Just using your post to make a point of my own
EDIT: :)

Only kids I've seen vaping is in anti vaping commercials, kind of ironic isn't it?
It is My humble opinion that the only ones seriously marketing vaping
products and flavored juice to the children are these anti vaping groups
and there cohorts. As a grandfather I shouldn't have to explain to my grandkids
what I am doing with those e-cig-thingies.
It's not only parents and mentors who are trying to influence the behavior
of 'the chillin'.
