The last 24 hours and what the Vaping Community has done for me

I am a Newbie to this thing called vaping, but what I have experienced in the last 24 hours in the vaping community has been nothing short of AMAZING!

Story #1
Yesterday, Pantheon Vape Lab posts on Facebook, that they found an MCR101 18500 Brushed SS in their safe. Its up for sale on their website. Well I am deployed to Afghanistan and their site is blocked on the Govt Network. I message Pantheon asking if they can pull it, and I will call and place the order for the mod. He messages me back saying we can def work something out... In the end I was able to get online via Afghan 3G (read SLOWWWWWW internet) network and actually place the order the myself. BUT, Guy Taylor, I assume is the owner or at a minimum works there, was going to do whatever he could to get that mod to me! First Class in my book!

I live around Tampa FL, so whenever I can I will support my local B&M. This morning (for me) I place an online order with Tampa Vapor. It was my first with them, and I am having the order shipped to me out here at my military APO address. Fast forward to this evening... I am sitting in the chow hall having a FINE meal (that was sarcasm), and I get an email from Mike at Tampa Vapor...

"...Also, we are going to change your account online to include your military discount. This will appear on the site when you log in. This will give you small discounts on some items but mainly lower prices on liquid. You can look around and see. Thank you for your order and please contact us if you have any questions or concerns."

If you are unfamiliar with it, THAT is customer service on a Top Notch scale! Mind you I am no longer active duty military, but now I am a contractor, but I was prior service USMC from 90-98. Semper Fi!

Takes place on Facebook between early this morning and just a few hours ago. I was made a member of a group of vapers for a new mod that the first run has already been shipped, the waiting list is a mile long, and I would be lucky to see one of these mods 2nd hand in the next year. I will withhold the name because this VapeMail will be extra special to me, and I will then reveal the Mod.

I replied to another member of the group's post that I was late to the game and was just crossing my fingers to get on a waiting list. This member sends me a private message offering to sell me an extra one that he has on order. I accept the offer with the contigency that he is not flipping the mod for a profit. I will not support Flippers! He assures me he only wants Paypal fees and shipping costs covered and we virtually shake hands and I accept his offer to buy his extra mod when he receives it in the mail. We keep chatting on FB and it turns out he is a manager at Discreet Vapor. He intentionally ordered one extra mod from this waiting list with nothing but Stellar intentions of sharing that mod with someone who didn't get on the list. I just happen to be that lucky dude! His name is Keith Ojeda and he is one awesome new friend of mine not only on Facebook, but in the Vaping community!

If you are online and looking for Superior Customer Service, give each one of these places a shot at your business
If you are on the interwebz and use this thing the kidz call Facebook, give their page a like and help spread the word

Like I said in the beginning, I am a Newbie, so I don't have much to offer the community in the way of knowledge, but when you get treated like this to a new hobby (addiction), you can bet your A(censor) that I will share that experience with everyone that wants to hear about it!

A sincere Thank You to each one of these Companies and the guys that are working hard for vaping!

That's awesome man. I've also found most vapers and B&M staff are very friendly and helpful, especially to new vapers. While I enjoy the price/ease I can get on the internet, I like to support the local B&M's with quality staff, products, and prices. It's good to know that the E-cig community is coming together the way it is.

I live in Tampa too and Tampa Vapor is my vape store of choice. They are great to deal with and go out of their way to provide excellent service.

I'm glad this community has helped you. I've only been a member a short while and the amount of information I've learned has been nothing short of astounding and I've been vaping for a couple years now.
