I love how the tide shifts from one item or pv on the forum.

When I first joined it was all about carto tanks. Different sizes and styles, the advent of Pyrex glass. Then the vivi nova came out and wow! Everyone was singing the praises and we're all excited. Then it was the consensus that the novas are horrible flavors muting garbage and people started going back to carto tanks and hating clearos again. The protank comes out and a majority of folks are amazed by them and carto tanks are put on the back burner once again.

Same could be said about pvs. Alot of folks were excited about a possible "provari killer" (the lavatube v1 then the zmax) and buying them like hotcakes.

I love the new advents and upgrades in the pv world and it's fun to watch the tide change on the forum. Right now it's the protank it seems. What is next?

I'm just sharing examples by the way. There is also the ss mesh hybrids, mechanicals, etc.

One great thing about our hobby is the new things are coming out every month or two. I wonder what the next best thing that will be coming out and will it test the the time like the provari or be a dud like the lavatube v1.

On a side note I got my protank and it's great. Three months from now i know we will be singing the praises of something even better. Ha. It's fun.

The CE8 might not be what it appears to be. Looks like silica wick with SS wrapped around it.

This is a reply to the same assumed issue from EcigWizard:
The Silica is located above the heating coil. It does not have any effect on the performance nor does it have any influence on the flavor.
Our supplier is one of the biggest distributor of cartomiser and they use the heating coils from their cartomisers instead of producing complete new heating coils.
The Silica above the heating coils is used to keep the heating coil in the center position, as it is the same method in cartomisers.
In fact, as the Silica does not make any contact with the heating coil at all, it wont be burnt. Furthermore, even if it would, you would not get a burnt taste as Silica is proofed to resist up to 1100°C.
A short circuit is literally impossible as the mesh used in the CE8 is fully oxidized as it is in rebuildable atomiser.

Boy, I really was excited when I seen that post about the SS mesh clearo. Sucks that it still uses the silica wick. Kinda false advertising if you ask me. People would expect the coil to be wrapped around the SS, not silica. You can't really say that it has any of the great perks to SS either other than wicking. Even still seems like it would have a lot of trouble feeding the silica. Silica already has problems as is and without being submerged directly in juice by itself, I don't even know how that would work out.

On another note, I haven't tried a Protank yet but these iClear 30's are like a Vivi Nova 2.0 lol. I'm a big fan of the vivi but these guys are like the same thing but on steroids. I'd also would like to see them in glass though. :D

I loved my KR808D back in 09. Smoked 1 cig a week and vaped all day. Something I can't do right now.

I hate everything with filling, it mutes flavor. Still I'll buy an AGR tank and try a couple of cartos, just to try.

I'm quite happy with T3, invested a pretty penny on them, I intend to use them for a long while.

Before something new comes out I try to watch the reviews. I was also excited about the CE8, but watching Todd's review burst my bubble. I'll stick to what it works for me, at least for the time being.

Have you tried the new mini T3? Big fan of the T3 myself. I order a couple minis about a week ago and I have to say, I'm quite impressed. Because the length of the tube is cut down you get more warmth and vapor production. IMO anyways. Its not like a super lot more warmth but noticeable if you compare the regular T3 and the mini side by side. Same goes for the vapor production. I'd give them a shot if I were you.

Yes, I have one! I don't mind the colder vapor, I love the flavor and vapor production. If you want a warmer vape try the Vapeonly BCC, it also gives a warmer vape. Although I find the vapor to be thinner compared to the T3.

I guess every has different experiences. Its funny how vape always seems to subjective like that. I have a BCC also! Very similar to the T3 and mini but for some reason mine spits at me a lot. I've tied a lot of things to fix it but I think mines just a dud.

I solved it with a piece of 2mm Silica... Try it!
