I vaped the same Ody coil for 11 days and it finally died Monday, right in the middle of a meeting at work. All I could do was slip out of the meeting during a bio break, grab a tank/carto fill it and return to the meeting. (I allow vaping at work).
I thought well, 11 days is good enough for a 3 ohm coil running at 7.4V. Better than anything I've ever had before
Later that night, when I got home and sat down to wrap a new one, I realized the coil was fine, the "ceramic cartidge" had unscrewed a bit, just far enough to lose connectivity from the GGTB I was using at the time. All I did was tighten it up and it fired right up. This thing is now on it's 14th day and still vaping like a chimmney. When I popped the top cover off, all I did was gently clean the coil a bit with an old soft toothbrush I have for that purpose
During that period, I learned three things;
1) Carto tanks/carto arrangements - mute flavors and diminish vapor as compared to a rebuildable atty. They were the best thing going for me until the Ody came out.
2) When Imeo says in his video - "make sure the ceramic cartridge is tight", make sure you follow his advise.
3) The Ody is an amazing device, much better than any rebuildable I've tried and I believe I've tried them all
Thanks Imeo!
