But #2 irritates me. Why would a trucker not vape strawberry? Maybe the trucker is a female? OR maybe like my husband the trucker likes fruit flavors like guava and ecto cooler?
I did not realize that men are not suppose to like fruit flavors. I suppose based on the statement that fruit flavors mean they are marketed to children then strawberry vodka and flavored cigars must be as well! Funny how we never hear that in the media.

One of the dumbest things I have heard is about all the people, pets and children getting poisoned from e-liquid. Yet so far I have not read of one person being kept over night in the hospital. ONE person did die but from what I understand that was a deliberate suicide.

This is something I'd like to have explained also. It makes absolutely no sense to me. I don't care if they legalize that "other stuff," but it doesn't compute how vaping could be considered harmful and the other stuff is fine. I have read studies showing that the smoke from that "other stuff" is just as harmful as cig smoke, and having been in places where the smell of that other stuff was in the air (lots and lots of it in the air), I wonder why "strawberry vapor" has to be banned everywhere indoors and out.

That other stuff is banned just as much if not more especially in public places. Like go to jail banned. This is not a good comparison.

I know! that was my point!

Somehow flavored Alcohol and cigars do not hit the media as something that attracts children but flavored e-liquid does!
I would no sooner leave house hold cleaners or medications or a gun in reach of a young child than I would leave e-liquid where a child could get to it.

sooo many truck drivers are type 2 diabetics by way of self infliction.

high blood sugar can fail a trucker on their DOT physical and is cause for CDL revocation.

my pop (self inflicted type 2 diabetic long haul trucker) vapes lemonade, cinnamon roll, cinnamon bun and chocolate doughnut to get his sweets fix. i wouldn't be surprised if it was common.

about the poisoning of pets, children and even adults. was told to be careful the other day as not to get any liquid on my hands as it would poison me and could die lol, thats what facebook and news media does to people. I laughed and dropped some on my hands to see his face to which I said ill leave it on and see how long I last, gave up waiting after 10 minutes but. I work on cars daily and get all sorts of car fuilds on my hands and clothes, havent died yet so dont get why someone would be so silly to think e liquid is anthrax (once exposed your screwed). my friend just said but thats what all over facebook and that news reporter said about it, even hand contact will be absorbed and is dangerous.

too many gullible people in this world I think for its own good.

Yes!!! This!! As someone who personally vapes for weight control, I have high hopes for this to help diabetics as well. Fortunately (or unfortunately) many type 2 diabetics are also smokers and I am hoping if they switch to vaping and enjoy the flavors, it may help them stick to the no sugar thing as well. The next step would be sharing the idea with their non-smoking diabetic friends. Several of my friends know that I vape to replace snacking...their response? "What a cool idea, I never would have thought of that." Tasty tasty juices!! The idea of someone taking away my tasty juices makes me crazy! How dare people assume only children like good tasting things? We would not have so many overweight adults if we all only ate bland foods. Idiots!

Has anyone else also noticed this fun little brain teaser. Cigarettes have their own special tax, so a lot of people switched to rolling their own, cigarette tobacco cut slightly different labeled as pipe tobacco suddenly isnt taxed as high as cigarette tobacco, so now thats odd enough but heres the really fuzzy part, pipe tobacco is at least tobacco so in reality it would be fair to tax it like cigarettes instead states want to try to apply the tax to ecigs? reaaaaalllly? because once away from blu and other cigalikes theyre called apvs or ego etc. so the only thing relating them to cigarettes is the name of a few? wake up america

The masses of citizens who we call friends, family, and countrymen are nothing but a cash cow owned by the powers that be. We are granted enough freedom so we can attempt to make better lives for ourselves, while funding 'national' interests that are not our own. Every single dollar we make has a portion spoken for. Did we ask for this, no. Do we condone every 'patriotic' action or welfare bum funded by our time and sweat, no. Do we pay for it regardless, yes.


That said, the FDA is no different. How many 'doctor supervised' chemical compounds are deemed safe then prescribed to children with adverse results? How many chemicals have passed their tests, only to be more harmful over the long run?


Thinking that any govt run agency will have our backs, whether its moral and rightous or not, is wishful thinking. With every ml of liquid we vape, we are depriving their darling, big tobacco, of highly taxable revenue. Since we are not profitable to them, they will not suffer us with the good publicity we deserve. Agencies like this have no motivation to objectively test, then tell the truth.

The entire issue is controlled by money. Not by common sense, health concerns or other issues. Simply money. The government brings in billions in tobacco taxes that it will not relinquish until another tax base replaces it. For years our government has spoken about people quitting tobacco, yet to this vary day still subsidizes tobacco farmers. When vaping becomes a cash cow for government, big tobacco and other powerful entities, it will suddenly be accepted with all its miraculous new previously unknown benefits.

tell me about it. i was recently prescribed metformin "for my health". ummm... no... i highly doubt something made from the precipitate of dimethylamine hydrochloride, 2-cyanoguanadine, toluene and hydrogen chloride is overall beneficial for my health. i'll exercise, eat right and maybe take supplements, thank you.
