I'm really battling to find a great flavour, everything I've tried ranges from fair to nauseating, most tests were with a dealer supplied J118. It has been said that the Janty Stick I'm using day-to-day is not the best for flavour tasting either.

I have an opportunity to get an M201, how's it's flavour rating? Worth getting? Will it complement the Janty Stick well?

I believe the atties and carts are interchangeable as well, true?

Flavour is the most important aspect though, analogs will keep haunting me until I actually start enjoying vaping.

Personally, I don't think the M201 is the best atomizer for flavor. In a Penstyle atomizer, I get best flavor from the RN4072 followed by the BE112. But the BE112 has a very light draw and I think it works best with high voltage units. With standard batteries, I highly recommend the RN4072 for flavor & vapor production.

Unsure about your compatibility question.

Hey Doug,

I'm switching from a j118 to a penstyle myself. I have a rn4072 in the mail right now. I got tired of the j118's batteries always dying, and I agree with you, I didn't get much flavor from most liquids. Keep in touch and let me know how it goes for you.

Visited the dealer and had an M201 in my hand, gave it a few puffs and got good vapour, unsure of the stock flavour in it but it tasted quite strong. Moved the atty to a USB passthrough, great vapour.

Didn't take it though. I found the draw rather heavy and being pre-warned in the M201 section on this forum, a genuine Smoore M201 has 4 holes in the battery for a smooth, easy draw, this unit's batteries had only 2 holes, suggesting 801 batteries which I gather are not 100% compatible.

Disappointed. :(
