I bought this rda about a month ago. I had seen them online and pretty much passed the flip cap off as a gimmick. I ran across one at a local B&M, picked it up and was impressed with the build quality. I'm sure from the pricing that it is a clone, but the fit and finish are as good. The whole top cap assembly is stainless steel with a blued/oxide coating. The deck seems to be very similar, if not the exact same deck as the Freakshow.
The clone I bought came in a brown box, I think the only words on it were a "mat hatter" sticker and SGX. My friend bought a tobeco clone of the mad hatter and it has two key differences over the clone I bought; the first being the shorter deck (so slightly increased chamber area), and a block style positive post with button head phillips screws instead of grub screws.
Mine has a copper center post, there was a little bit of metal left from cutting the grub screw hole but it was easy to remove with my tweezers. I can't comment on any machine oil left in the atty as I always wash my new purchases with warm water and dishwashing soap. The positive pin does not seem to be adjustable but protrudes enough for use on a hybrid mech. There is no option for single coil airflow.
Clouds and flavor off of this atty are outstanding. It has a lot of airflow, but still pushes a dense vapor from the smaller chamber. Most 510 size drip tips fit in the attached chuff cap.
If you want a freakshow you can't lose the top to, check out the mad hatter! I'm surprised it hasn't been talked about that much.
Pictured build is a 0.2mm wire clapton'ed over 0.25mm; 3mm inner diameter. Each coil comes out to two ohms. Rips @ 7.5 volts. Pictured wick has been on there for over a week.
