I am failing to see the connection here. Other then that both involve tobacco. What does a news story about bad parenting in the third world have to do with a US tobacco company corrupting our legislative process?

RJR had (and still does) a very strong marketing push for camel snus. I know I'd never even heard of snus and started seeing the hype in all the stores long before they even got to market. Many months later I see marlboro snus coming out with just a silent "ok fine we got it too"

RJR are also test marketing products like nicotine mints.

RJR knows that their cheese has moved, phillip morris is waiting for the cheese to come back.
