Personally I really don't see a purpose in this. If your using a 3.7 volt device you want the ohms low so switching higher will really do nothing for you. Most people use variable voltage so your vape is controlled by switching your voltage. Coiling this thing looks like a nightmare. I could see switching from single to dual coil but that would be easy on a regular rebuild atomizer. Also it is common knowledge the more complicated you make something the more that can go wrong with it. I guess it is a good novelty device if it works. But that is about it. Just my opinion, your mileage my vary.

i know its easy jumping on the new thing with a uninformative light but there is a myriad of reasons why this would be useful, not everyone sticks to one ohm and just uses variable devices
everyone has a preference for ohm and its great that you have your own way of vaping but to millions out there this is extremly useful and revolutionary to many of those who are chomping at the bit to play with one.

some people enjoy controlling the voltage , some dont, some like regulated devices some like unregulated, some like wattage and some like to actually be in control and have control of the resistance as well on the fly.

novelty to you , a godsend to the rest of the community and im sure in time when people are using them you will see exactly why its wanted by many. The original head was beta and thats what yu see in the pic, its what gave us the medusa name, but thats not the final head, while it might look complicated it really isnt and the new head with easy inserts will be doable to anyone who does rebuildables now, its not as daunting as it might look and lots of work is being put into making it look cleaner and easy to use over all, give it a week when i show some more detailed info and hopefully you will see more of the inside and how to rewire and wick it. a year ago we wouldnt of thought so many would be rewiring and re wicking their tanks and rba's but look at how many people are doing it now and doing it well..Always remember what we dont like ourselves and cant fully understand doesnt mean there arent others who do. So stick around as this is only the beginning, i got some other stuff here no one has ever seen.

i see the Medusa being excellent for mechanicals. lots of people use mechanicals without any power regulation- which tends to "muddle up" their vape. most VV/VW devices use PWM. and the PWM may or may not affect your vape. lets take the provari vs the vamo for example. the vamo cycles its PWM at 37hz, while the provari is at 800hz. you cant tell that the PWM even exists in the Provari, but with the vamo is very noticable. in fact, you can even hear the vamo cycling. the slower the cycle, the more it affects your vape.

for this reason, many folks have gone the mechanical route. mechanicals give a flat DC signal, which is seen as technically superior to any VV/VW, even the provari. the only thing that mechanicals cant do is change voltage/wattage (the reason why they cant is the same aspect that makes them vape better than vv/vw - the regulator). enter the medusa. you now have a way of tailoring your wattage without losing any vape quality. this, to me, does indeed look like a revoultionary device.

    Can I guess?? :)

I'm thinking a drip tip that will change colors when you squeeze it.
Default color would have to be purple.
