OK I had a request that someone wanted to be able to vape at different volts with one Magnum mod. I could already use a 18500 or 2-CR2's for 3.7 or 6 volts.
But now you use two CR2's and the red button gives you 6+ volts and the black button will give you 5 volts through a 5 volt regulator. Throw in your 18500 and your vaping with 3.7+ volts via the red switch, the black switch does nothing as the regulator needs at leat 5.45 to send five volts to the atty...

I doubt I'll be making any more of these , there really is no room for the parts in this casing. Then again , practice makes perfect right??

I used the TI 5 volt regulator that have been discussed in other threads here. Not sure which one right at the moment. but they are part #UCC383TDKTTT-5G3

The step by step is pretty much in the Madog video that is a sticky here:http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modders-forum/3759-my-diy-dse901-magnum-power.html
But you gotta fit 2 switches and a regulator in there as well:D. Good Luck..Just run one switch straight to the + connector post and the other switch to the regulator , then the + connector post( Im sure you get the idea)... I used some 2 part epoxy putty to cover the end cap and hold the 401 battery charger connector in. and cut some slots in it for the atty to breath. Them I did my Pro paint job on the hardened putty..

Thats the problem with which I like better. I usually switch between different kinds of attys and voltage through the day. 3.7 is good in the morning til maybe mid afternoon. Then I need the 5 and 6 volts later in the day.. The 6 volts really kicks good, but like has been said many times here. the 5 volts is kind of a sweet spot...

Actually a box would probably be a whole lot easier. There seems to be more room where the parts can go.. I just always seem to go back to these flashlights. I dont know what it is but they just seem to feel better in the hand..
I'll give it a go when i get some more time ....

Thinking now you would have to use the 14500 batt instead of the 18500 in a box for 3.7 volts and you wouldnt get near the run time out of it. I suppose you ronly looking for the 5 and 6 volt anyhow huh??

I was thinking more like an altoid box instead of a regular battery box. I should have said that before.

Oh definitely. I think there would be lots of room in there. could almost do a 14500 and 2-CR2's in the same box with a switch to choose between the two. I wanted to do that here but the slide switch just doesnt work well on a round body...

1 slide switch, 2 button switches, vaping all day.. could even do a 510 connector out one end and a 901 connector out the other 8-o
