Still new at this... I'm having my morning coffee as I type, along with my morning vape of "Sticky Buns" with an extra shot of brown sugar flavouring in it. I find that as my taste buds have not yet recovered from all those years of smoking I sometimes need flavours with an extra "added kick."
I've also found that there is a technique to vaping. One doesn't just suck it down like one did analogues. It's a little more... ummm... sophisticated than that, lol. If I really want to taste the full flavour I have to take in a hit, then prior to inhaling let a little vapor float out and up to my nose, then inhale. Makes a world of difference in the taste. I tested this by vaping a few times with my nose pinched closed and found that I tasted nothing at all if I couldn't smell it. You know how that first hit often feels like it has more flavour than the 5th hit? Well, I found if I do the "let it drift up to my nose" thing I continue to get the flavour all through the whole vape session.
Regarding technique, I watched a video of a psychologist who is doing a study on vaping and quitting smoking. She referred to a test done where novice or non-vapers had been given vape pens and asked to smoke them. Then they were tested for nicotine level and found they got next to no nicotine. The study was then repeated with experienced vapers and they were allowed to use their own vaping equipment. After vaping their levels of nicotine were appropriate to what had been vaped. So it appears that knowing how to use your equipment and correct technique may be an important factor in getting the nicotine required to not have cravings for a cigarette.
Anyway, good morning wakers and vapers
