Welcome Loyd! You'll find it's a wonderful, crazy family here, and Papa Steve keeps us all SMILIN! I'm pretty new to (been here 3 weeks) and already feel a part of the family. Get your post count up, and the sig will be available. In fact, you can up it right here, tell us your story! What did you start with, and what did you like/not like about it? And congrats on 3 days man, that's no small feat!

Wichway - just noticed you're in Rockwall.... I'm not too far from you! And what's a Bartleby? Is that a mod?

How about this snow!? The Bartleby is a simple box mod, but was a great first mod purchase for me. Just do a forum search for Bartleby. I also use both my V4L batteries too and as soon as they get in the XL manual battery in purple I'm getting one of those. Can't have too many LOL

Well this witch just got done working and the sun will be up soon so need to get to bed :D Be back later

I highly doubt they are sold out...we would have heard people on the forums bragging about them or mark/steve telling us they are in stock:p. I know they have a whole lot of stock to unpack, who knows, maybe they are coming soon!

This is correct, we are still unpacking, the new batteries should be up some time today. I did just add auto passthroughs to stock, we only have white in at the moment.

Well thanks for the warm welcome everyone!
I started with the Smoke Anywhere E Cig, I did not like anything about it really. The flavors seemed to all be the same and the vapor production was very low and it just did not feel like I was smoking a cig. So my wife said she liked so I gave it to her.
Within 2 days of buying that I found this forum, did a bunch of reading and decided to go with V4L. The day after I got my starter kit I had another order in for more carto which according to the tracking should be here today! I got Rum and Cola, Dark chocolate and French Pipe as well as a few others. I will let you all know how they taste when they get here.

So I went through about a pack a day of analogs and it looks like I am killing a carto a day, that sound about normal? And how do you know when the carto is dead? I still get vapor but the taste seems to change and the back of my throat gets kinda scratchy feeling.
One thing I am really looking forward to is getting my sense of taste and smell back. It's amazing that 4 days of analogs and on E cig's and I am breathing better and feel better!

A cart a day is totally normal. It'll fluctuate a lot, but it's a nice average.

You'll know the carto is done when you stop getting both flavor and vapor, and you might taste a bit of burnt marshmallowy kinda thing.

The biggest learning curve I find is knowing when a cart is done. Experience is pretty much the only way.

Welcome to V4L...keep vapin!

...It's amazing that 4 days of analogs and on E cig's and I am breathing better and feel better!

Isn't that awesome! The body is an amazing thing! One a day sounds about right, that's what I was using at first. After a few weeks, I did find myself enjoying it much more (as the buds whip themselves back in shape) and am now averaging closer to 2/day (I was a 1- 1 1/2 pk/ a day guy too). I'm finding I rotate flavors a lot because it is so much fun!

On how to tell when it's time for a refill: I (and probably many others) struggled with this a lot at first. I had trouble detecting the change in taste, but I did get the scratchy throat. That's when to put that cart aside for a refill and/or cleaning. PawPaw gave me the best advice yet though - it's better safe than sorry, and if there is ANY doubt as to whether it should be topped off, refilled, or cleaned, do it. You can always clean and refill a cart that wasn't yet 'done' (and c'mon - if you waste a few drops while you are getting the hang of it, it's no big deal, new cartos are more $ than a few drops of juice) but you can't revive a truly dead one that's been burnt up.

Hope that's somewhat helpful!
