Way to go 3alouka[emoji122], great wicking, can't wait to go back home to try it, now you need to name it as I believe it will be soooo popular.
P.s Egyptian rocks [emoji41]

Thank you so much Elmasryahmed, i hope this adds more flavor and less trouble to all of us. I already named it my friend "The Mummy wick" ;) , but come to think about how it looks in its final stage i would change that to "Waterfall wick" LOL!! I'm also open to any suggestions regarding the name, but hey it first needs to prove it's worth it. Please try it and feed us back, if you have any questions i'll gladly answer them as soon as i can.
P.S: yes we do :2cool:

Update: the flavor wick needs to go further than the shoulders. It becomes dislodged too easily. I am using it now with a 1.6 ohm microcoil at 18 watts, 5.4 volts, great flavor! In addition to laying the flavor wick over the top of the coil I pressed it onto the sides as well. More mummified! Lol.

An additional word of advice, thin your main wick, keep it trimmed on the sides and thin it diagonally from the top of the juice well all the way to the height of the building deck. Keeping it small helps it wick properly. Dshobe, i tried your thick wick over the shoulders, and in my opinion if you keep the flavor wick thin, that will also help it wick better, i also noticed more gunk with the thick flavor wick. I'm back to the old flavor wick method, the thin outer layer going from one side of the deck to the other (this helps it stay in place as it sticks to the main wick), i thinned my main wick and i'm fogging up my room with a 1.6ohm coil 28g 9/8 wraps around 3/32". Going easy on it, wit 12 watts, 4.7 volts. My sweet spot is at 13.5 watts 4.9 volts.
I have always wanted to press the part covering the coil to the sides of the coil to achieve more contact, but it would not stay in place because the flavor wick itself is like a ribbon and won't fold because of the shoulders, but i'm gonna try a work around next time. I need to try a standard wick without the flavor wick, just to compare and feel if there's really a difference in flavor and that i wasn't just hallucinating on chain vaping 12mg nic. LOL!!

I finally back home and wicked my built with it, here's my findings,
Flavor is a bit muted, more vapor (not much though)
But after each draw there is a sizzling sound (liquid burning sound) although firing bottom is not pressed, followed by a burnt taste like a dry hit taste on the next draw,
I guess it's my wicking maybe,
Here's some pic of my wick

I'm using a provari P3, 28g on 2.4mm getting 1.4ohms. Usually vape @11 watts, just switched from organic cotton to Japanese cotton, actually this is my first Japanese cotton wick.

Everything seems ok to me, you might need to work on the cotton density, it's a bit tricky.
Here are some pics of how much cotton i usually use, and it's not much:

As you see it's the normal way:

This is what you'll need as a flavor wick:

Stick it to the main wick on one side:

Ok here is my take

Kayfun clone 1.3 ohm running 4.2 volts app 13.5 watts new Mummy wick

Russian 91 clone 1.3 ohms 4.2 volts app 13.5 watts S wick

Both on MVP 2.0

First thoughts Mummy wick rules
Vapor production for me almost double with the mummy wick
Flavor production Better with mummy wick
I will re wick my Russian and run for a day or 2 a update.
I think you are on to something here Alouka
Thanks Woodhippy

And we have another name suggestion, and it's a good one:laugh:!! "The Sushi wick" LMAO!! If i was Japanese i would have definitely called it that.
Answering your question, i never had any troubles with the wick shifting when screwing on the chimney shaft piece (that's the top chimney part right?). Just don't use anything wider than 5-6mm as a flavor wick, stick the flavor wick to the main wick and both to the side of the building deck, make sure the flavor wick is lying flat touching the top of the coil and you should be ok.

Thanks for the write up and photos. I think I will try it out on one of my Lemos. :)

I have a K4, I'm gonna try this out. Sounds interesting.

OK, i just received my lemo, been vaping it with the stock prebuilt coil (reading 1.1 ohm on my istick) but i got rid of the cotton it comes with and rewicked with koh gen do bunny ears style wick for the first couple of days. Today i decided to clean my coil and rewick it, dry burned my coil and rewicked bunny ears style. After priming my wick with juice, i laid a flavor wick on top, not the usual side to side one i used in my KFL+, but rather a shorter one slightly pushed on the wick shoulder like Dshobe did. I managed to chain vape the Lemo on my istick all the way up to 19.2 watts, 4.6 volts. I also just got a Smok Xpro M50, which i was charging for the first time with a newly purchased samsung 25R. As my istick died on me, my M50 was done charging. The stock coil in the Lemo reads 1 ohm on the M50, been chain vaping this all the way up to 22 watts, 4.8 volts for the past 30 minutes, no dry hits, the Lemo is wicking like charm, great flavor, vapor production is even better. Lung hits, and AFC on the Lemo is halfway closed. Nice throat hit with 6mg 70/30 VG/PG juice, and i only feel the vapor is warm but nowhere near hot at any given setting.
I'm really reluctant on taking the M50 any higher on wattage for fear of nasty dry hits, although i'm not even getting close to any burned taste. I would really love to see how this performs with a kanger subtank mini RBA section. Now i want a subtank mini

Take the Lemo or a lemo drop over a subtank all day! just my 2 cents [emoji12]

I'm neither comparing nor prefering the subtank over the Lemo. It's just that all the reviews i watched and read about the subtank mini are positive, flavor and airflow wise, the ease of rebuilding the stock OCC , and the added advantage of having an RBA section seemed to be the best bang for the buck. I just received my Lemo and i'm absolutely stunned by the airflow it has that i'm only using my KFL+ exclusively for my mouth to lung vaping, in fact it wasn't meant for anything else. The Lemo is inevitably forcing me to change the way i'm vaping. I'm still discovering the Lemo world, and i'm sure i have a lot to learn, but one thing i'm also sure of is that i'm gonna like it while i'm doing it. Given that i only own a KFL+ and a Lemo, i thought it will not be a bad idea to have an additional tank for variety. Now i have previously considered getting an Aqua 2 clone, going the RDA direction, which i never tried but really feel it's not the way i want to vape. But as more sub ohm tanks emerged, and everyone liking it, the one that really got my attention was the subtank mini. It's either that or just wait long enough for a Lemo killer :p
