I have been vaping for about three months using a K808 and was very happy with it untill about a week ago. I can't quite decide what it was but I just could not get the satisfaction from them like I did early on and ended up back on analogs. So having not vaped I was looking around on some web sites and spotted the Ego. I watched some videos, read reviews and decided to take a chance and order the double kit. I am getting the adapter to use my K808 cartos and also ordered some of the larger 510 cartos. I am excited again to get this new toy and am hoping that something with a bit more power will get me off these analogs for good.
I have noticed that many people start out with basic kits and move up. Lets hope this works and I can be analog free. :toast:

I had the exact same experience with my wife and my brother. I converted their EGOs over to 510 cartomizers. Then still wanting to improve, added the 510 to 901/Kr808 adapter for use with Vapor4Life premium cartomizers. I am happy to say that they are now very satisfied.

edit: I also drilled a tiny hole in the side of the cone so that the draw would be improved.

GL to YA!

While the eGo/tornado is a great device--served me well for months--don't expect a whole lot better vaping performance. It's still basically a standard 510 battery with a longer (much longer) battery life with a slightly more satisfying draw because of the cone. The real "wow" comes with the addition of a LR atty. You'll experience an undeniable performance boost with that. It's much closer to smoking than a standard atty/carto. Great throat hit, huge clouds of vapor, and minimal (1-2 second) drag times to achieve it.

When you get bored with that (should take a good 3-5 months or more, if ever), check out higher volt mods. You can build one yourself if you understand how a flashlight works and can easily be built by a complete novice in a weekend for minimal cash. Or you can buy a pre-built one for a premium. Either way, I've been spoiled by HV and doubt I could ever go back to using standard voltage devices exclusively.
