I got my Easy kit monday and absolutely love the 2 piece unit. I've vaped a VX2 unit for 3 months and love it but have gotten sooo tired of constantly fiddling with it. You know, blowing out attys, topping off carts, cutting and stuffing carts, washing carts, etc. The cartomizer eliminates that completely, so easy! In fact since I got the KR808D-1, I haven't had one urge for an analog (not so with the VX2). However, I do have 1 problem. One of my batteries died last night. It shows it's fully charged in the charger but the LED doesn't activate and no vapor what so ever. In fact both batteries have performed inconsistently since I got the kit. I've tried charging overnight, for 4 hours, just until the charger changes color, doesn't matter. They were lasting anywhere from 3 hrs to 5.5 hrs, nothing like the reviews I've read. Help! What am I doing wrong? I don't want to go back to the VX2!

Frank, thanks for the great prices, customer service and fast shipping. Haven't had an analog since I got my starter kit last week.

Is it normal to have to mess with the charger a bit to get the light to stay red. I usually have to remove/insert the battery several times on a low or dead bat before it will go red. I'm not twisting.

Thanks

I havnt got the usb charger yet (its in the mail, cant wait!!) but at a guess id say the thread end of the battery might be a little dirty (or maby even inside the charger) what i would do it unplug it all, use a cottonswab diped in everclear and swap it out, both bat and charger, then try again.

Thanks Dale, I don't have any everclear on hand right now (been quite a while actually). From what I remember, that stuff gives quite the throat hit. I'll try some rubbing alcohol but it's happened since they were new. Not that big a deal, just wondered if it was the norm.. I'll just pick up another charger... Anything beats dropping $13.00 on analogs every other day at 7-11.

Dale and Mojo,

DO NOT USE EVERCLEAR on the batteries! I had a customer ruin 4 batteries using it. I would stay clear of all liquids.
Try sucking on the sticking battery without a cartomizer and then wipe with a dry paper towel!
Repeat until it clears!

If anyone would like a copy of the Battery and PCC maintenence sheet I include with the kits just sent me a PM with your email address and I will send you one:)

Isn't the manual 902 battery sealed?

It's not that a big deal anyway. I'm more than happy with my purchase. So is the wife and daughter.. I honestly didn't think it would be this easy to kick the analogs. 8 days now. If it wasn't for Frank and this forum I never would have even tried ecigs.

FYI, I emailed a couple of other suppliers before placing my first order (cigeasy) and got both an incoherent reply and no answer at all.

Frank -
I am having some battery problems, too, but I am wondering if it could have something to do with the USB charger. When I put a battery on the charger, sometimes they don't blink and they aren't lasting more than 3-4 hours, so maybe they're not getting a full charge, but the light does turn blue.

JustMeAgain,

Sounds normal to me! The batteries don't always blink when put in the charger but they always seem to charge fine for me.
The time your batteries last between charging also sounds good. The people who claim that their batteries are lasting 8-10 hours can't be vaping very much. My guess is they are using it every hour or so and only taking 5-10 drags like having an analog.
I vape almost non stop and only get a 2-3 hours out of mine! I was a 3 pack a day smoker!8-o
By comparision a 510 battery would not last me an hour!
As time goes by the batteries also will not last as long as when they were new. Performance slowly degrades. You should get about 200 charges out of a battery so plan on replacing them every 60-90 days.

They don't just die! They slowly fade away!

Happy Vaping!

Ok...first time anyone has ever called me normal though.

Sounds like I fall into the same category as you do - heavy smoker = heavy vaper. I was concerned about the no blinking, but if that's normal, then I'm in good shape.

Do you have the new, longer batteries in stock? How much longer do those last between charges?

Like just about everyone else, I much prefer the manual battery on the 510 - is it pretty much the same difference when it comes to manual v auto on the KR?

Will you be getting the adaptors that allow a carto to be used on a 510?

Thanks!

I was going to order them but I have seen mixed reviews. I have talked to users and the reports I am getting is that they don't really last much longer than the Regular Easy Long battery. Unless I get a lot of requests and believe the extra size and price is worth it I am going to wait!

I don't think anyone really needs more than a couple batteries and the PCC on any given day!

But I do have passthoughs on the way!:thumb:

The 902 is growing on me but I still use my Auto's more! The manuals do last me longer though.

I cancelled my order! See below!
