I am thinking that the lack of air slots in the base at least contributes to the tighter draw.

I haven't tried it on any other device than the mvp with the beauty ring that has the air holes, the slots. I should of tried it with the provari. Will do that soon.

The slots would add more airflow because it's flush with the beauty ring I would think.

I'd contact him and ask for photo credit. Yes, yes, he does "so much for the community," but he put his logo on your image.

LOL true.

He did put the link to this thread where you can see I originally posted the pic. Do you think I should ask for credit guys?

Eric, that's totally up to you man. But just my two cents...I wouldn't even consider asking for credit...or anything. This dude has saved most of us a grip of cash. I've i was able to help him out with a couple of photos, I would be more then happy too.

I just ordered one of the Kamry X9's from fasttech earlier today.
I received my real protank from fasttech today.
I scooped up a 12 dollar one before they sold out in like 15 minutes. Lol.
They had 9 dollar real protanks before that but they sold out in like 30 seconds or something lol. :)
I have had great luck with fasttech.
Every package has came within 12 days of confirmed shipping date, everything has been exactly what I expected, and I saved a small fortune too!!!

I was lucky enough to pick up a $9 one. It's great, but imho would be hopeless without an airflow regulator doo-dah that I use it with. Just too airy without it, but great with.

Yes thanks for the pics Eric! Have you been able to figure out exactly which different heads will fit in the Kamry? I'm pretty sure the evod heads do. I was kind of wondering if the t3s's fit.

I don't have any t3s' heads so not sure.

I've heard the t3s heads work in evods but not vice versa btw.

I'm taking some protank heads with me to work tomorrow and will test them. First test I'll do is a side by side with the protank and kamry both rocking evod heads then both with protank heads. I'll close my eyes to see if there really is a difference. I'm pretty sure it's a stiffer draw but I'll make sure.

It came with a short head but remember I got mine from eBay. It came in a little white box no thrills.

The ones from FastTech also come with the short head. If you look at their site, they link you to the short as heating cores to use with the X9. lol
