That's correct, but I haven't seen this feature on a pass-through battery yet. Has your eGo passthorugh worked at all?

it works intermitantly then flashes red...then blue..then quits. and 5 clicks will*not* turn it on. i'm still real new at this and figured this was a trick that you guys played on the noobs.lol.
seriously though i'm baffled. the batt does have brass trim instead of the steel like my old one if that makes any difference.

I'd like to find something on the color codes too!

Mine is working great. I also made sure I gave a long charge before I started using it . It seems to me that the red on the buttom may be when it is actively charging? It was a guess. I just unplugged and went through the whole sequence and I got flashes when I plugged it in -- similar to when you charge a battery & get the white flashes. Now the button is red when activated as well as the bottom light (charging).

Before I did the above tests and had it plugged in for some time, the bottom button was green (charged) and the manual button was blue when activated.

I tried playing with the possible 5 push both plugged in and not plugged in and it did not turn off as it does on my white button ego T battery. EDIT - I did it again--faster---and it worked. It flashes thru the red blue pink.Mine has the gold band too and may not be JoyE. Does anyone know?
