So I got my Kbox Mini kit, and I wanted to start building. I've gone over every video, tutorial and review but I have been unable to get info on the newest version of it.
This one:

My main issue is with wicking, either I get a very tight drag or I burn my cotton. I burn it when I build a micro coil 2.4mm at .5ohms and I got the tight drag and eventual burned cotton with a 3mm .3ohm
Would the pancake work on it? Any tips, help and/or guidance will be appreciated.

Just got my Subtank and inside of an hour I've ruined 6 wires, lost a screw and still don't have a usable rba. Do you people all have little doll hands? I haven't even gotten to the wicking yet. :(

It took me like 6 tries before getting a descent coil. I know how you feel.

Yeah, hate those little screws Spyder.....just lost one on my sub plus today.....I vowed to not buy another sub ohm tank until it has a normal size rba head, I think most of the current subtanks that offer a rba head are merely an afterthought to entice the rebuilder.....but the end game is really to sell propitiatory heads, there are a new crop of rtas that look promising , might give one a try

When I get my rba head to work (for like an hour) it is soooo much better than the replacement coils. I just need to make the magic last.

I find that I have to adjust the wick every other fill or so. The wick seems to move itself to tight to juice holes.

Awesome, will try as soon as I get home. Back then you said you were using the coils it came with. Have you tried your own build? What results have you gotten?
My standard build for the subtank is 5 wraps of 26 gauge kanthal with an ID of 3mm. This is a spaced coil that comes in at 0.6 ohms and it works perfect every time.
