Knew it! Congrats Reddhott. If I read the rules correctly we can't repeat the ones from the previous round. Wish I had saved "Crazy" till now! Oh well, this makes it more interesting.
So for my 1st entry for the 2nd round- just for the pure humor of it- William Shatner doing Elton John's "Rocket Man". ....( a rocket... man.)

2nd for the day- KD Lang covering "Crying" by Roy Orbison. This is the best version of it I could find- she's performed it live many times. I have always loved the effortless power of her voice- and paired with his beautiful music it's fantastic!
Last one for the day- pretty sure this still counts as a cover even though it heavily features the original artist. Great combo of genres.

2) Jimi Hendrix - All Along The Watchtower has already been posted a couple of times,
and Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah has been posted before as well...
The 'official' start of the new leg of this contest should be after Post #159...

Both of my daughters play string instruments so this quartet caught my attention. Obviously originally played by guns and roses.
