As this thread gets longer, people become less likely to read through all the posts. Too bad, since part of the appeal with this contest is sharing music with each other.

If they are really that lazy, they can always use the "Search Thread" function... :D

And with the advent of Youtube, the lines defining the term "cover" have become blurred. I think it should be more than just some joker in his/her living room with a webcam... and needs to exist someplace OTHER than as an upload on Youtube... :blink: LOL!!

This one is more a case of two people who co-wrote a song both releasing different versions of it...
although Peter Gabriel's came out a year earlier (on his 2nd solo LP)
