I will never understand why some vapers think dripping is hassle, I personally find it's what gives you the most control. No wicking issues, no need to tilt a tank, no need to constantly refill, no wondering how much is left in that carto. You take you 3ml bottle with you and you drip as you need.

Absolutely....

Although a pain nothing brings out the flavour like a good drip. For traveling in a vehicle or for convenience sake nothing beats some sort of tank system. That is why you'll always can find an eGo T/C in one of my pockets. AAMOF I brought 2 510Ts with me for my trip to Vapestock and vaped 'em all the way there and back. Once on the ground the eGo Cs came out

FYI for all the i06 fans, do yourself a favor and try to score a DCA. It will make your dripping experience 100x better. I don't want to post a link in Switcher's thread, so just Google it

The only dis-advantage to the DCA is they tighten the draw up some, which may be a dis-advantage for some folks as IKV atties are naturally not as airy as most atties.

Agreed the DCA does somewhat restrict the airflow, but you can always adjust the upper portion to loosen it up a little. A small price to pay for totally leak free dripping. I'm going wild with mine, dripping 4 drops at a time

Well that was short lived! When I attempted to remove the SS drip tip, the casing from the atty came clean off the battery connector. I now have half a I06 stuck in the drip tip Anyone have any tips on how to get it out without damaging it (presuming i can piece it back together)?

Those SS DTs are tight man.....as in hard to get on, I did however get mine off pretty easily by shoving a thin screwdriver down the drip tip and just aiming for the side of the atty as opposed to the bridge......I am not recommending this, it is just what I did. I was only taking it out because I had a new one to put in there, not much reason to take it out for any other reason. I am sure Switcher will have some better suggestions for removing the atty from the DT

I have been seeing a lot of people having troubles with pulling apart their I06 when trying to remove it from the SS drip tip. My solution to this is do not remove until it is going to be tossed and replaced then it does not matter if it come apart on you. And yes I am guilty of pulling one apart before I wised up. At the end of it all their is no vape like a I06 vape.

That's a good point. No more tinkering for this guy. Loved what I saw out of the io6 and will order more in the future. Do any of the io6 vets around here have any good pointers in terms of how to prime properly, how many drops, when to top up etc.?

Had it purring for a while, then nothing but dry hits for a bit (maybe over filled?). That was the point where I thought I better pop the drip tip off and see what was going on in there...and as they say, the rest is history (literally).

Any tips would be greatly appreciated as I'm definitely adding the io6 into the rotation!

I usually drip 4 drops and am good for 4 or 5 hauls then i drip a couple more....I am guilty of flooding it once in a while only because I once took a ginourmous pull off it, only to realize I had JUST blown it out........the most horrible death hit I have ever had.....I never want to have that feeling in my mouth ever again!

The mfr was/is aware of this issue and has resolved so I am told with their present and subsequent runs. Rotating the DT occasionally prevents them from adhering to the sides of the atty. This recommendation has been around since the beginning of DTs.

The IO6 is a juice hog (hence its performance). It requires 4 drops to prime and 2 drops every time you fill. If the hit becomes scratchy, it is time to top off again. On occasion (if it seems like it is getting dry) re-prime.

Feel MUCH more secure now knowing I have a couple of LR I06's sitting here now as well as the 3.5 for my Altoid mod. After having tried (and failing miserably) dripping on a couple of other different atties, I am still constantly amazed at the performance of this little sweetheart.
