...and all I can say is WOW. There's a reason the O, M, and G are capitalized in this thing's name. This thing is unbelievable. It looks and feels incredible. It totally blows my Yeti out of the water, in every category. Huge vapor, absolutely incredible flavor, and the battery is a godsend coming from standard 510 batts.

Altsmoke, you have a customer for life. I will never buy a mod from another company.

The only thing I can see that MIGHT be an issue with it is that the threads on mine seem a little rough. They're not perfectly flat, but have ridges on them. The unit has to be lined up absolutely perfect for it to screw together, but as this is my first mod it could be that mods are just like that.

Rob and Chad, THANK YOU BOTH SO MUCH for providing me with a product that ensures I won't go back to analogs.

Nope, especially not on a mod from Altsmoke. They do threads right. I've bought 3 of the Silver Bullets, and the threads were absolutely perfect! The threads just glide, it's almost erotic.

I find the threads a little rough on my OMeGa, but I figure it must have something to do with the nickel. All in all, it really isn't too bad on the OMeGa, but I was spoiled with the "almost erotic" glide of the threads on my SB.

Anyway, to say that the OMeGa rocks despite the coarser threads would be an understatement. It is an absolute work of art!!!:vapor:

hey chad I'm kinda confused about your contact points... is the spring made of copper or brass and is your contact from positive end to attie aluminum or brass. It's kinda hard to tell with the videos and pics. If it is aluminum you did good choosing that metal (lower resistance than brass) and if the spring is copper (really low resistance compared to both metals) than that is the best you can get as far as cost. Silver being the best with the lowest resistance but at a very high cost.

That omega is absolutely gorgeous... but I'm waiting to see if you come out with with a 14500 or 16340 style Omega... :) then I'll be sold... the 18650 is a great battery but I'm a stealth vapor but the looks alone almost had me sold and I do mean 99% sold. :)

The Omega is definitely a beautiful device. The switch action is absolutely intuitive. I know the nickel plating is somewhat new to me from a use and care perspective. I did order some of the Gel Gloss as mentioned in the video, but until it arrives, can I use something like Brasso to clean it up? I already have some tarnishing that I would like to take care of before I show off the new baby today :)

The positive contact is Nickel plated brass, the springs are Phos Bronze. I have thought of sliver plated contact. I do have plans for the two sizes you listed above, but I have a lot going on before that would be available :)

This Omega Mod is amazing, grimmer its not as big as you might think I was kind of surprised by the size and as for stealth the Mod fits in my hand unseen, I have big hands but still its not that big. Siver plated contact would be awesome and worth the little bit extra but as designed its awesome again. Chad this SWITCH is AMAZING great design as usual my man keep up the great work !!!

I agree that the OMeGa is not as big as you might think. It feels much lighter, smaller and less imposing than the SB, which is nice because it offers a much different feeling or experience. At least more so than I would have thought given the same battery size.:2c:

but it's just not anywhere near the BB. There is that very distinct line between "small" mod and "full size" mod. The SB always feels LARGE. I think it's in part due to the weight and in part due to the fact that your fingers don't contact your palm when you hold it in your fist. The Omega is smaller and lighter. Your fingers do touch the heel of your palm. It just feels normal after you get used to it and you don't notice it any more.

The BB is in a different class. It's very small and very light (relatively speaking). You don't hold it in your fist so much as in your fingers. It fits in a shirt pocket (and doesn't make it sag off your neck). You can put it in your pants pocket and it's not much more than a set of keys.

I've been using my Omega (and SB before that) at work to break them in and get familiar with them. I find myself carrying them in my hand more than putting them in my pants pocket. I drop my BB into my pants or shirt pocket without thinking.

I want both.
BB size for work, going to the store, etc.
Omega (current) size for the golf course, long outdoor activities, car trips, at home. Golf, outdoor stuff, I'm usually carrying it in a belt loop flashlight case.
