heh... just thinking here. How about a "lockout" ring for the Omega?
Think about a semi-flexible plastic ring/collar with about 1/3 cut out of the circle --> "C". You could snap that in place to disable the switch for transportation. No inadvertent activation in your pocket or wherever.
