The original AdapteveR

OK, went back to the site and actually "read" it, rather than just skim the information.

So I'll try this again and try not to look quite so stupid. It's a battery compartment that houses common (is that like in double A batteries) batteries and it has an adapter insert that allows one to use the appropriate atomizer. Right now it looks like you've the adapter insert for the 901 and are working on adapter inserts for other atomizers such as the 801, etc.

Am I getting warmer? And, if I've got it right this time, what type of batteries will work in it?

Yep. That looks like what it is. A way to use the atomizers we're using right now, only with over the counter batteries. Very attractive prospect, I think. I'd love to be able to use standard Li-Ion rechargables in such a device. They're a hell of a lot cheaper than the ones we're buying from China right now and hold a much longer charge.

Hi Sharon, yes you are close... not AA batts though.. they lack the power of lithium for their size... the lithium batteries I use are found typically in camera's and high power flashlights... if you look here TJK : AdapteveR (includes dse-901 insert adapter) I list the batteries supported....

you are right on the with adapter concept... I have not released the other insert adapters besides the 901 yet...

Thad, I still need an 801 adapter when you get them made. My AdapteveR is working great and I've been using the longer protected 123's , the end cap just doesn't screw on all the way , works fine and the battery lasts longer. Let me know when you have the adapters ready please.

John

I will definitely keep you posted when I release the other adapters soon...

It's 9:18 AM the 901 on the homepage says out of stock. So have you updated and they are already gone or is there some left or haven't you updated yet?

Do you have a picture of the entire item?

How many 123a batteries does it take?

And is this product similar to the SD and the prodigy?

Thanks so much!

Hi Sharon,

the unit takes 1 cr123 battery for 4.2v Max when fully charged...

yes it is similar to the SD and Prodigy in function.... however I feel it has a few differences which make it unique... i.e. being able to insert different adapters for different atomizers for example... also it uses no solder or wires which is also different than the SD or the Prodigy...

I will take a pic of the entire unit and post it here sometime today...

Thanks
