Hello all,

I am looking for the perfect tank for me. The perfect tank for me would consist of all of the following:

1. 3 - 5 ml
2. Will not spin (easily).
3. Will not move up and down on the carto. I want to be able to pick it up by the tank and not be fearful of it pulling right off the carto.

I don't want to have to spend alot of money trying different ones until i get it right, so if you have any suggestions, let me know.

Thanks,
Frazz

Check out Notcigs M1A1 tank. On the Carto it doesn't budge, holds 3-5 mls depending on the one you choose, does not react to juice and has a nifty filling port so you don't need a needle, also there are 7 colors to choose from. I absolutely love mine, the price is a little higher than some but well worth every penny for the quality.

I love the chibi! The xl tank (for the smoktech 1.7) holds lots of juice.. it's simple to use and doesn't slide around, I pick mine up by the tank all the time and it doesn't spin either. You can buy one for $5 and use your own punched cartos or buy one with a punched carto already in it for $8.

+1 for the home made syringe tank. You can make them whatever size you want, and since you punch through the rubber plungers with your own carto, they fit tight. They are sturdy as hell, and from what I've heard they don't crack with those certain juices that crack other tanks (I don't use those flavors so I don't have first hand experience with that).

The grommets I got with my Chibi were loose, even leaked because of that and caused flooding. I saw in that tread where other folks were building their own or buying replacement grommets off Amazon. Not sure of the exact dimensions or the differences between the two but the ones I just got from Amazon are much tighter in the plastic tube and don't slide easily on the carto once everything's together.

They also don't need the o ring to seal, just fine by themselves.
This page also has the polycarbonate tubing listed for those wanting to make their own.
Enough tubing and grommets to make at least 15 xl sized ones or 20 regular sized.
All for ~ $18 plus shipping.

Have you tried making them like this?

If this was directed towards me, then yeah. Got the grommets first and replaced the ones in the Chibi because it didn't seal and only had one o-ring in the bottom, none in the top where it was leaking. Neither of the new grommets have o-rings and seal fine. Got the tubing Saturday and cut some of it with a hacksaw into the larger sized (5 ml). Sandpaper to smooth up the edges. Still waiting for the xl cartos (resurrectors, stainless). Should be here tomorrow (holiday for the mailman). But I'm using the 5ml tanks with the smaller cartos, lots of overhang. Grommets pushed all the way in, both ends sealing, and no leaks and no o-rings.

But they can seal with just one part of the grommet inserted into the Chibi and not leak. Still haven't measured them but they do seem a few thousandths wider. And with these grommets the carto doesn't slide very easily once in the tubing.
