Finally joined the club! Ordered mine on release date and had it in two days. I have to admit that it is everything that I always hoped it would be.
I was hesitant at first about not having the classic look at first, but I'm glad I pulled the trigger. Now all I need is my kraken so it all matches up.
I thought about pulling the trigger on the Cali edition, but then I didn't. I already have two Poldis. But not to feel completely left out, I ordered, received, and installed the PEEK switch upgrades on my Anamie and Belial.
I also had this problem. Try this. Take your switch completely apart and see if there is any carbon build up on the rod or contact points on the inner screws. I had to lightly scrap that build up off with a knife or flat head screw driver. This cleared up my problem immediately. The screws generally fall in the same position when tightened with consistence. Then make sure the rest of the mods contact threads are nice and clean. Like I said I lived through your exact problem and that was my solution. Hope this helped if youre still having issues.

Has anyone tried using the replacements rhodium plated contacts for the Poldiac? As I understand from their website it's a rhodium plating thrown over the original silver plated brass contacts. What is rhodium? Is it more conductive than the silver plating or is it somehow less corrosive and therefore easier to maintain in the long run? Would the Poldiac hit harder with these? Can anyone testify?
I was thinking about ordering them but they seem to be out of stock as of right now. These contacts along with the peek ketron for the button assembly.

I ordered my first Poldiac last night and now the wait begins for it to get here.
I ordered the Aname V2 in the 18650 size. With it being polished brass with the polished stainless steel shirt and pants, I also ordered the brass shirt(with slots) and pants so I could also use this mod in all brass.
I also am getting the 5 extra replacement springs and the oring kit.

I predict that you will just love the Aname. The Aname was also my first Poldi and is still my favorite. I really like the contrast between the stainless and the brass. The brass rings on mine have just the right amount of patina which is perfect.

I wish I had ordered it a week ago so I would already have it in my hands. This will be my first top end mod and I hope it is first of many more to come. I have only used regulated mods before this mechanical.
It's definitely worth the wait. I think you're gonna love your Poldi. IMO, still the best mech mod there is.
just for the record rhodium is used as it is very close to silver for conductivity, not quite as high but close and is a very tough finish with a very high resistance to tarnishing and will not oxidize unless driven electrically very very hard.
in many cases rhodium is used to plate sterling jewelry as it has the exact same silvertone and will not blacken or tarnish, it is why so many SSilver chains stay bright and shiny for so long.
good stuff - i use the rhodium plated roller springs in the poldi and the rhodium 510 and spring on my roller and they seem to never need more then a light wiping to stay clean, i would imagine the same will happen with the new poldiac contacts, almost no noticeable Vdrop from the silver with much less cleaning.

I hope you are right about the Rhodium plating having almost no noticeable voltage drop. I ordered an inline voltage tester that should be here Tuesday so I can check the Poldiac Aname V2 I have on order when I receive it. I will post what I find for voltage drop after I test it.
I ordered my Poldiac around 2am Friday morning US time, which was around 9am Friday at MMV's. How long does it take them to package and ship a mod? Do they send you an email when they ship your order?
