To someone who's ordered the standard DID from MMVapors, what Kanthal would you recommend for a sub-Ω resistance setup? I see that the DID comes with 20 meters of 32g Kanthal A-1 resistance wire. Wouldn't 28 gauge Kenthal be better suited for sub-Ω?

Yes, I use 28g in the Short DID for sub-ohm micro. I think you can get sub-ohm with 30g but with a conventional 3/4 wrap.

I think if I had to pick one guage, 28 seems to be about perfect for .8-1.2 range.

Sometimes I'll even use twisted 28GA if I'm in 650 mode. Usually in the ballpark of .5 with twisted. Drawing over 8 amps with that kind of setup, so 350 mode is not gonna happen.

I have a 1.1 ohm wrap right now; sometimes it's nice not to burn your face off when chain vaping.

Good luck. You'll love it. I love how the button feels. It's truly is worth the price of admission.

I have had my eye on the Poldiac and the Nemesis for the past 2 months. The Poldiac came available first. Still waiting for notification on the Nem.
I dont mind paying for a quality item. No mater what the item may be. I believe it is worth it in the long run.

I admit I have bought a few lower priced clones in the near past just to confirm that I am in this for the long haul. Now it is time to get a few I can be proud of.

Nice collection you have started. Which is your favorite? (other than the Poldiac)
And does your RSST taste any different than your carto rigg?
I get a dry scratchy hit off mine.

:D Thanks. I love my roller, then my private v2 clone, then my provari. I'm not a huge fan of cartos but I bought them early in my vape history and I bought a lot of boge cartomizers. I really like my rsst's, more than my aga t2. I have them set up with steel cable and a ekowool diaper. Drilled the holes to 1/16 inch, 28 gauge A1 in 3/4 wrap at 1.1-1.3 ohm. I must say I'm really impressed but my kayfun puts them to shame on flavor and about tied in vapor production.

I have a IBTanked carto rigg coming in the mail this week. I have yet to to do the carto systems. I an head over heals with my cheap drippers at about 1.0 ohm.
My RSST has 1.0 ohm steel mesh with 3/4 wrap. Just doesnt have the flavor of my clearo's or dripers. Maybe I need to switch wick material in the RSST.
